    A lot of them punches were bare-fisted wherre you need less power than with a boxing glove.

    Yes, that`s Conor McGregor`s style except he slips shots too, I don`t think they are taught to slip punches in karate classes.

    They are, but like most traditional martial arts there is an over reliance on blocking and countering.
