No, he fought Marciano twice then retired.

 

Walcott would land more, he was more savvy than Bruno who would be missing a lot, I don`t tink Bruno could go 13 rounds, he never proved he could and gassed in a few fights, he was also lagging badly in the final round v McCall.

 

No he didn't...the hardest puncher Rocky probably faced was Walcott and he got dropped. All these guys hit much harder than Walcott.

Walcott did get stopped by Louis and Marciano, but he also beat a whole myriad of murderous punchers.

He could obviously handle big punchers who were limited in their offense.

Yes, Bruno was big. But he wasn't much good. Just a stiff, awkward, very basic boxer.

Good point but they didn`t have Bruno`s 82 inch reach and jab. You mentioned Hagler and funny enough he had a much longer reach than Marciano too at 75 inches, Rock`s really short arms are going to a problem against Bruno`s high guard and jab, that`s really only why Bruno got his world title shots and his right hand, when he used inside punches like he did v Witherspoon he got countered easily, if he fougt that way v Rock he`d be in trouble.

 

Abe Simon? Anyone more limited than him? Bruno could box a bit ,ask Lewis,nobody decisioned him.
