I think wlad had been declining for some time. More and more guys were taking him the distance and he was fighting less frequently. You can argue that Fury might have beaten him in his prime anyway but no way was that the best version of Wladimir.

That's not what I wrote. Wilder wins the rubber match.

In my opinion, friend. I respect yours.

And he'll do the same to that overblown statue Joshua.

Wlad was 40 and had been inactive. Had been on the slide for about 2 years at that point. He ran into a bigger man who could move and lost no shame in that. Good win. Not a great win

The only ones who stand a chance imo are Ali, Lennox, Prime Wlad with a gameplan, Bowe, Vitali and maybe Tyson

But then again he has the advantage of steroids, of which he's tested positive for

Your have low standards for being in shape

What would you call a great win at heavyweight in recent years?

Excuse me friend, his kind of shape and preparation, I personally think overweight fighters with excess weight as irresponsible. What I meant with the way he fought AJ the 1st time. I respect your views, please respect mine, Thank You.

    How long is an era though ? 1 yr, 5, 50 ?
It’s like asking, how long is a piece of string.
It’s obvious Fury is the best HW around right now. He needs to beat Joshua, & the leading contenders for 2 or 3 years before being called ‘a great heavyweight’ in my opinion.
I don’t personally think it’s a very good division at this moment in time ( too many older guys, or young inactive novices ). But there are intriguing fights to be made.
Fury can only beat whoever is put in front of him & he’s pretty good at that !

Only having a joke Richard. I don't think Ruiz ever had the legs to chase down AJ once he got on his bike, in shape or not. I also don't think I see Ruiz getting in shape without a serious change in his attitide to food and life

Sounds good my friend, I think that you are one of the best. I am sorry for misunderstanding you, please accept my apologies. I too do not think that Ruiz has the legs.

This is how all discussions should end as opposed to the insults that are unfortunately all to familiar.

Fury needs to beat AJ and Usyk to go down as the best of this era. If he does that then he’s got an argument.
