Pacquiao in and out style is what cause him his defeat against
but you get what I'm trying to say? Yes Pacquiao offence is great goes in launching in throwing all kind of punches that's what got him knocked out against Marquez and in trouble with Morales, Just like Morales was controlling Pacquiao with that long jab DLH had a longer better more powerful jab than Morales, I see DLH controlling him with the jab and getting him with something big.

At that point in his career, Oscar was still known to rely on his left hand too often. So you didn't even know this, huh? What kind of fan are you, not even knowing how ODLH fought earlier on?

You probably just jumped on the Oscar bandwagon before he retired...

Oscar had a fantastic Jab... was his LEFT. :duh Keep posting so everyone sees how little you really know please. :eaea:

It took Marquez, one of the best counter-punchers we've ever seen, FOUR FIGHTS to time Pacquiao for that KO and he was a two-handed fighter. You really think Oscar, who's right hand was notorious as a 'combination filler' would control Pacquiao just because of a jab? After Pacquiao did his best to become a two-handed, more dynamic fighter in response to the Morales fight you bring up?

    C'mon, man.

Morales was definitely hurt. Not on the verge of being knocked out, but he was definitely feeling the shots. Floyd was hurt in round 4 and 6. Floyd told his bodyguard that no one hit him harder than Pac did. Why do you think Floyd didn't walk down or stand and trade with Pac like he did Clenelo, Mosley, Cotto, Ortiz, Guerrero, Berto, and Maidana? He fought the most cautious fight of his life and landed there lowest connect percentage on any opponent.

Man, this fight would be impossible to pick for. For one, de la Hoya does not respect Floyd's power he's said it countless times that he used his head to whack Mayweather's gloves to try to hurt his hands...2 Oscar was a beast at shrunken weights in his prime. 3 Floyd would be Floyd: perfect.

Oops I screwed up wrong thread. First of all roach is as reliable as a human being who is dependable in what he says, no bull****. He said to one fan that said to him "Juan won the fight" he said "bull**** it was a close fight" he has a mechanism about him that is honorable. He calls it like he sees it: he was the one who said Tyson s heart was not in it any more TRUE he said a toney Tyson fight would bring In people with gats TRUE he said if there's no God then he tried his best to be nice to everyone so if not he would say eff you lol. Also trained Oscar and KNEW he was past his prime. He used Oscar for a short ride then jumped on Manny for a longer ride then pitted them both together in the Manny ride. Guess what Manny won.

The only department DLH is superior to Erik Morales is speed. DLH has a sharper more compact left hook, but that's not the weapon to beat Pacquiao with. You need the right hand to hit and beat Pacquiao, DLH's right is average at the very best.

Morales imo is more versatile with both hands and is a better boxer than DLH.

Pacquiao eats left hook happy fighters for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Against a prime DLH the fight is only more competitive but Pacquiao wins again likely by comfortable decision.

If you don't know yet, Floyd fought Hatton at 147 division. The 147 division was definitely not Hatton's best and most comfortable weight. Floyd knock Hatton out in a hard-fought battle in 10 rounds while midget Pac knocked out Hatton with ease in just 2 rounds in his best and most comfortable weight class at 140.

    Please do your homework!

Hoya wins, imo. Just not sure if by competitive decision or late stoppage.

Oh come on man Marquez beat Pacquiao even tho he had to knocked his ass out in order to convince you and the rest that he's the better man... but you are too slow and needed a knock out to convince yourself...

If you don't know yet, Collazo almost took Hattons head off and then Mayweather knocked his ass out before Pacquiao got to him...

So I guess according to all of the newbies in here Pacquiao would've beaten DLH more convincing than the great Whitaker?? Ok I get it this forum has gone to trash...
