Prime for prime, 135 pounds, fought in a phone box.

Who emerges from that phone box the victor?

Well yes there is a propensity to favour the modern fighter by ko due to how far the sport has come.

I know the easy pick is to say Castillo is too big and too modern.

However I was hoping to see if anyone does believe in Ike, the man, the myth, the legend, to throw a devastating hook at Father Time and knock him out.

Ike Williams made a career out of destroying swarmers, and he beat multiple better than Castillo.

Well luf, I meant Ike funnily enough, vicious puncher, was quite happy to mix it up with Welters, in my top 5 of all time Lights.

I'm not sure about how many swarmers he beat who are superior to Castillo. But I do agree he has a massive style advantage.

The problem swarmers will always have with guys like Williams and Arguello, is once they get past the jab and find their way inside, they don't like what they find.

    Heart breaking.

He beat Montgomery, Jack and Angott like 10 times in total. That's good enough for me.

And Ike has an awesome inside game, he throw some nice short shovel hooks to the body, and shifted from inside to mid range really subtly. At mid range he has some of the most brutal combinations ever. Like, I'm talking Joe Louis level.

Montgomery and Jack, man it's so hard rating them. Their legend is based on each other and there's no footage of either lol.

I compare him more with Liston, but I agree with your point.

Ike is faster and more ferocious, can box better when he wants to. The longer this goes, the worse it gets for Castillo.

Without Roberto Duran and Joe Brown in the division, Ike Williams would've killed everybody.
