Janitor has this weird fixation that power alone won't win you fights. Which it won't, but he seems to revert to that line of thought any time a power puncher is brought up, regardless of whatever other factors are being discussed.
I think if you could stay away from Tua and kept your wits about you then you were in with a chance. Aside from one or two times, Tua really sucked against out-boxers, though he had that sleeping elephant quality of suddenly exploding with something out of the blue and knocking you loopy. It's why I'd give someone like Max Schmeling a better chance to beat him than say Marciano, even though Marciano was, in most H2H senses, a superior fighter.
I can't speak for him, but some posters have the idea that power + chin + weight = greatness. It is not that simple.
Yes, he is. Tua has a fairly good, but not a stellar record, in which his biggest fights are lost. I think Tua's ledger reflects his competitive spirit, whilst belying his limitations.
