    It'd be very, very interesting.

It would give Fury three generational type wins over a man ranked as the best in the world (excepting himself) at the time he beat them. That's very, very rare, it doesn't happen often.

So he'd be lacking, dramatically, in contenders, the modern disease, but doing well for top, top contenders. IMHO there is an argument there for the sub-elite ATGs. That'd be a ranking of 17-3. I think you'd run into trouble on the internets having him at three, but imagining that situation i've not doubt I could defend placing him at 17. None at all.

The following boxers in their prime are the first 10 that came to mind who would all beat Wilder.

I'm not saying these are the top 10 all time heavyweights but the fact they would beat Wilder means that Wilder does not belong in a top 10 list:

    Muhammad Ali
    Joe Frazier
    George Foreman
    Sonny Liston
    Larry Holmes
    Mike Tyson
    Lennox Lewis
    Riddick Bowe
    the Klitschko brothers

Fury proved that if you can box or present an elusive target or force Wilder onto the back foot then you can put him in serious trouble.

Because you mentioned the good Senator from General Santos City in the Saragani Province of the Philippines it seemed you were not talking just heavyweights.

OK, if you want to be really specific about stuff then I'll say this much.

I think Deontay Wilder is the greatest ever 6'7" heavyweight who was born in Tuscaloosa in 1985.

And in any case, all the fighters I listed weighed the same or more than Wilder at various stages of their career so stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

would have to be at least 230 pounds and be over 6’5 tall

being a fat midget doesn’t qualify it’s about body dimensions not just weight

So anyone shorter than 6'5" who would wipe the floor with Wilder doesn't make the top 10 list that Wilder is on...?

And you say I'm an idiot...

Fury would probably rate in the top 25.
It's so difficult, almost unfair to compare guys 70+ years ago ( probably 6' and weighing similar to today's LH or less ), with today's monsters.
Marciano, Louis etc, would be far superior skill wise than most of modern HW, but physically would really struggle.
I know it's a bit of fun, but crossing generations is almost impossible to call.
Sorry if I'm coming across as Mr Grumpy, even so it's actually an interesting thread !
