I don't see why Whyte can't take legal action with what's happened. The bigger failure is why Eddie Hearn couldn't have helped his managed fighter get a title shot at the time. He really let Dillian down in my opinion. Couldn't see Arum and Haymon being froze out like that. Frank Warren doesn't seem to have any issues doing business with American promoters and the organization.

I can see both sides he took the calculated risk turned it down and has put himself in a better position now after winning his previous fights and stacking up plenty of PPV loot.

Whyte could have been facing Joshua next had he faced Pulev for the mandatory. Then he would have had a higher % and no rematch clause so he can demand whatever he wanted for a third fight.

He just wants to fight lesser opponents on PPV and claim he is getting ducked. It's great promotion. Look at the comments on social media around Whyte, they think he is this KO artist feared by everybody in the division. He is just keeping the money rolling for a bit then cashing out. Boxing business 101.

If he REALLY wanted that Wilder fight he could have got it.
