If Barkley doesn't stop Griffith early I see him getting embarrassed and getting nearly shut out by Griffith. Thoughts?

Shut out ? You're not serious. No way could Iran gone the distance with Griffith. Big and tough and brave as he was, he got done in a round by Nigel Benn.
    Griffith eats him.

Griffith by a rather routine, humdrum, one sided decision on points. Griffith W15 Barkley.

I actually think Barkley has the right style to replicate the Carter result.

But prime for prime we have to assume Griffith takes it seriously and doesn't try running right through Barkley.

Griffith I have to a bruising decision.

I do see the similarities btwn Carter and Barkley, but I think Griffith was not mentally and psychologically ever in the Carter fight. I also have Griffith by a close decision. Griffith beat some hard-hitters like Barkley, but Barkley's no push-over, he could certainly take Emile to the limit.

IMO the Carter fight was a freak result that I don't think would have been repeated in a rematch. Griffith faced many better fighters than Carter and no one else came close to blasting him out like that, and Carter never matched that performance against another world class opponent.

So unless Barkley pulls a Carter on him, Griffith UD.

Even if Barkley could pull a Carter, a rematch would not be advisable. We all know how Griffith did in rematches.

God Barkley gets so overrated. I saw his bout vs Tinley and he should have lost.
Sanderline Williams should have gotten the nod over Barkley as well.
And now hes going to beat a Griffith would outboxed Tiger who was way stronger then Barkley.
    Get a grip people.
