    “I’d rather have Manny Pacquiao’s legacy than Floyd Mayweather’s. Manny fought everybody and Floyd fought guys (on his watch). Manny fought who his promoter wanted him to fight. And Floyd fought the guys that were financially lucrative. I don’t think Floyd gave two you-know-whats about how people feel whether he fought the best guys or not. It was strictly business for Floyd.”

    I don't think Floyd ever really cared about his legacy. He was strictly about the most dollars for the least risk. Can't say that I blame him but that is how I'll remember him. Manny was more the warrior type who would fight anybody, anytime for whatever his promoter would give him and that is how I'll remember him

    I think Floyd cared a little about his legacy, but money definitely motivated him more.

    He did care about his legacy but more about the money . pac cares more about legacy though why else would he still be fighting at 40+ when he already has money .

    Bear in mind hopkins is part of golden boy.. Al due respect he was a great fighter but he had his opportunity to take on the biggest challenges he could find but he was busy fighting guys smaller than himself like Trinidad and winky whilest ducking James toney and a Roy Jones jr rematch. Just looks like plain jealousy to me

    What do they all have in common? They lost . You know what I would rather have James Toney’s legacy than Hopkins who Hopkins was terrified. He shut his mouth until Toney left the middleweight division.

    I think whose legacy you would rather have is a personal choice Pakkuman. Nothing wrong with Pacquiao’s legacy and Floyd’s legacy. I do know Hopkins like De La Hoya is jealous of Floyd’s success that’s Golden Boy Promotions for you.
