July 11 on Fight Island Usman vs Burns Volkanovski vs Halloway Aldo vs Yan Even though theres two championship fights, I have to admit I am not that interesting or excited. Already saw Max vs Alex, it was good but a second fight doesnt interest me much. Never been a fan of Usman or Burns. Aldo is great but his best days are behind him. Extremely excited because Yan is a guy I've been high on since his days in ACB. Not the best fight for the vacant belt but it shall suffice. Strong challengers await the winner. Holloway has been a dominant champion. Interested in seeing if is his time on top is truly over. Usman/Burns isn't the greatest fight but Burns has earned it with his run who can deny it?
No doubt Burns has earned the title shot after demolishing former champ Tyron Woodley. Seeing a new champion at WW could make things interesting Win or lose Max is a legend. Beating Aldo 2 times is no easy task I don't know much about Yan which is probably why I am not that excited. But yeah it could turn out to a great fight and I could become a fan
I expect Yan to beat Aldo who should not have been given the shot. He lost a close fight to Moraes in his only fight at 135. Ridiculous by the ufc as usual. There was much more worthy title challengers imo. Volk-Holloway. Not really interested myself as Holloway lost every rd in their fight. Once again there is much better challengers available/fresh matchup. Let Holloway win a top 5 fight then maybe give him another shot. Sick of all these pointless rematches. A title challengers SHOULD NOT have to defeat the champion TWICE. Volk already beat him once and beat him EASY. Usman-Burns. I think this is a very interesting matchup because Burns is so good on the ground so Usman probably won't want to risk taking Burns down to the ground. I expect it to be a mainly standup fight. I favour Usman to win a decision.
Volkanovski will win a decision again. Aldo will beat Yan by decision. Usman makes a statement and dominates Burns.
Aldo gets the title shot because they want to set up a rematch with Conor Good chance they can bring him back from retirement with an easy opponent To win another belt. I believe Conor is willing to starve himself one last time to make history.

I think Conor will never return to FW again. Dude was a skeleton, and he said recently he felt comfortable and great at WW. Also both Conor and Aldo lost a lot of their hype and I don't think a rematch would generate anywhere near as much interest as the first fight. Aldo lost his aura and so did Conor
