Top 15 for sure. The accolades and P4P superiority. The longevity. And he took on all comers.

Manny is the greatest fighter I have seen in my lifetime. What he has done is amazing. Don't care for the way the poll is framed I'd guess he gets on any reasonable persons top ten list of all time. For me he's the best ever. Just imagine how venerated he would be had he been born in USA. The knockouts he suffered would be referred to as obstacles that he triumphantly overcame by sheer will, not permanent stains to his record to be cited time and time again proving that he is just another also ran. Some don't even credit him as being an 8 division champ, begrudgingly admitting possibly 6 legit titles. He'd be the Rudy of boxing! Crawling his way out of poverty would have been a shining example of all thats good in America etc....

What examples do you have of Americans being praised for getting knocked out? Sounds like a bunch of BS you just extracted from your ass

You should learn to read. The guy was saying that an American fighter would be celebrated for coming back from a KO (Danny Jacobs, is an example) and overcoming adversity. No one attacks Jacobs or Williams for getting KO'd, but haters love celebrating/pointing out that Pac has been stopped as a means to tear down his accomplishments.

Lol. You might want to check yourself before talking about reading comprehension because I asked for an example of an American who is praised for coming back from being knocked out. Most Americans don't even know who Danny Jacobs is, and those who do praise the fact that he came back from a battle with cancer, not the fact that he was knocked out. I again, ask for an example of an American who's stock went up with fans because they were knocked out. My guess is your will reply will be some disjointed thought about how everyone is a victim except Americans. All I'm asking for is some actual examples and all you could come up with is a cancer survivor that most casual fans have never even heard of.

He's great no doubt, but he also went against the weakest champ at 135, had a bunch of catch weight draining fighter's and fought a lot of fighters who were already done or were coming in from beatings example Morales 2 Hatton Cotto and Margarito.

    Top 15 minimum imo.

Champion at FLW, FW, SFW, LWW and WW
Number 1 at SBW and LW.

    It's ridiculous.

No one said KO losses by American fighters are celebrated. The poster argued that KO losses wouldn't be held against an American fighter like it is against Pacquiao and that what they do after would be celebrated as overcoming adversity. When Jacobs emerged as an elite middleweight post Pirog KO, no one held the KO against him. If Paul Williams had not gotten into the motorcycle accident and went on to become P4P and an ATG, people wouldn't use the KO loss to Sergio as a means to tear down his resume.

I voted GOAT. Why? Because I felt like doing so and because that's what I do. I might have voted differently on another day but I didn't see this thread on a different day so it's a moot point.
