Very true. I've seen it where it's ruined a venue to having moody door staff

So while Fury would like a gypsy no holds barred fight in the back of his 10 acre house ...Theo wants the fight at a boxing event with tv cameras......i think both want the fight...fury would like it on his terms so he can do whatever it takes to win even after hes hypothetically lost ...(weapons,others jumping in,eye gouging, beating him while hes knocked out) whilst suspecting that theo for those very reasons wants it at a boxing event and as also that if he loses its kept civil and oh its a fight u win you lose.

It’s even worse if you have soft doorstaff that let every scumbag in then go missing when it inevitably kicks off.

    Yes he is.
Former pro and the eye gouging street fight. To his son being world champ.Fury is a fighter.

    Theo too.

I think something should be set up much bigger than this.....a 50 something hard man competition...all on one night 8 man tournament.....all former doorman......and low level ex pros etc...former strongmen...the fights should only be 1 x 3 min round before it goes to points..boxing only with 12 ounce gloves and 30 seconds on ground allowed (tho gloves on renders it less dangerous)...that way theres a better chance these older guys last the tournament....there would be 6 alternates on standby

The 50k billy jo put up for the fight could be used to set thing tournament up

Im sure both fury and theo would welcome the chance to win the inaugral.....king of the hardmen tournament

It's such a tricky one because a lot of the time the bouncers have scumbag mates in there kicking off with other scumbags, I used to see it all the time, I'd be djing scanning the crowd looking out for trouble. Don't get me wrong, some of the bouncers were fine and did what they were supposed to do but I'll never forget some short roid head grabbing my hair and nipping me trying to throw me out as I laughed only to be informed that I was the DJ! I'd literally not done anything other than go to the toilet and blow my nose.

Thing is, if big John got beat by someone, that someone ain't making it to the car without blood being spilt BAD. I'd leave the gypsies to fighting their own

    Very true.

Johns own rigid self worth as "unbeatable, fearing no man,the fittest 54 year old on earth" would be dealt a mortal blow if he lost after all this talk to theo.john has challenged lennox Lewis in the past ....and now mike tyson.....he clearly feels that he is on the same level or even better than those 2....despite the fact billions of people are beneath these 2 legendary kings of boxing.....between them they had 20 year careers ...fought at junior and full olympics...won world titles....wheras fury had a handful of very very low level pro fights...theo sensing this has nade a challenge

I think most people would enjoy seeing John Fury being made a fool.

On a separate note, aren't they both old enough to know better? At least Theo has conducted himself properly throughout all of this.

I don't want to see these freak exhibitions under boxing rules, should definitely be tailored to suit the event. Some sort of 20 man royal rumble would be good with the last man standing the winner or maybe Britain's hardest man competition following strongest man format with entrants competing in various hard man tasks.

The thing is, John doesn’t believe he’s on the level of Lewis or Tyson.

He clearly doesn’t have faith in himself to beat Teo.

I’ve enjoyed the turn this thread has taken. I’ve been fortunate to have had plenty of my work on violence published over the years in books, magazines and journals. The one consistency to success in violent conflict is preemption, deception and the negotiation of ‘the interview’ prelude to any physicality. Nearly all those with too much to say, very rarely notice the subtleties in the orchestration of their downfall, a submissive hand gesture here, a well place question to engage their tiny brain there and boom... game over. I’m sure someone like John Fury is a hard man, but I know men ten years older than him who would take him out the game before he even knew he was playing. Would they win a straightener with him? No, but there’s a massive difference between fighting and the pavement arena of those who work with violence day and night. I’ve seen champion boxers, MMA fighters and gargantuan bodybuilders all put to sleep by unknown men who quietly live the life.
