That silly statement from Flpyd didn't sell a single PPV Buy more than had he not opened his dumb mouth. You are just so far up floyd's butt, you believe ANYTHING that he says, or that you can justify.

What I find strange is the die hard GGG fans who criticize Canelo for some of the weight gimmicks and are also die hard Pacquiao fans who was the king and the father of weight gimmicks... now that is strange.

After the fight Cotto took the longest break of his career moved up in weight then won b2b2b fights by stoppage vs the same level of comp he was struggling/losing too before Manny including winning a JMW title and getting revenge and stopped Margo in the rematch.
Going into 1 fight you have a guy at his career lowest and Going into another you have a guy better than he has in years. Cotto put up a better fight vs Floyd than Manny did and that version of Cotto was ducked by Manny Cotto wanted a rematch not Floyd and Manny back out because he couldn't get Cotto to come down in weight again. After he had a 50/50 bout with Trout then won b2b2b fight by stoppage winning the Lineal MW title.

Now let's look at Mayweather-Canelo Canelo who was 22/23 at the time was coming off a win over unbeaten champ Trout head to head as a boxer he probably boxed as well as you can expect vs Floyd but even with the catchweight his next what 4 fights were at JMW he didn't move up a division the B's with the Lineal belt aside dude stay at Jr MW for 3 additional years after, hard to claim your drained wen you continue to fight at the weight, the flack Canelo gets is mainly because the GGG meat riders are sad his boy is a flex, dervancanko has a better argument for beating GGG than GGG has beaten Canelo yet all we here is crickets on that one.

 

While we're at let's just call out pbf for saying he was going to knock out all those fighters on the 24/7 shows leading up to those fights while we're at it. Afterall he said it it must be true he must be held accountable and it had nothing to do with selling a fight according to Lance's logic. Lmfao!
