No he does not. In fact is probable that Frazier would ko him late, Prime vs prime they weighed similar, Frazier was a tank he was not lhw patterson

Liston was stronger, hit harder and had better technique. Frazier has better stamina, but that does not help his case cause the fight never goes to the latter rounds, Liston takes him out just like Foreman did.

Liston fought nothing like Foreman, he was more a boxer-puncher than a slugger,Liston used the jab and Frazier had no problem avoiding jabs with his move of head.

Liston did not push back his rivals like Foreman did so Joe could work to the body.

Frazier had more balls and heart than Liston could even dream.

Liston having better technique than Frazier is a joke and hitting harder debatable, Frazier with his left hook did hit just as hard than Liston with his right hand.
Frazier vs Liston is a 50/50 fight . Liston did not have the power of Foreman,he was smaller , he did not fight like Foreman and he was much weaker mentally, Foreman showed much more heart than Liston.

This is true. Liston and Foreman were both hard-hitting scary dudes, but otherwise didn't fight anything alike. Foreman would club away while Liston was slower and more methodical, busting you up behind that long jab of his. Liston also wouldn't have the same physical advantages Foreman had over Frazier (besides reach). There's always the chance he nails Joe coming in, in which case it could all be over quickly. However if Joe does start getting inside and turns it into a 15-round war of attrition, then you'd have to favour him.

Total agreement here,,this is a style nightmare for Joe . He can't come forward against Sonny Liston, Frazier gets stopped in about 5, no more than 8

Yeah I'm sure Frazier can't beat Michael Moorer, Old Foreman, Tommy Morrison or a post-prison Tyson. Lmao.

Liston would have no problem keeping Frazier at bay, he was stronger. And it's not like Liston is gonna stand there and let Frazier get inside, he nails him when Frazier comes forward.

That is debatable and completely irrelevant.

    No, it's a fact.

Good joke. If Frazier hit that hard how come Ali got up immediately after Frazier floored him in the 15th ?!?
Even Cooper hurt him harder than Frazier did.
Liston hit harder with either hand. Go watch his fight with Williams.

Only in your dreams. Liston wins every single time.

Oh really ?! Is that why Foreman said Liston was the only one to back him up ?!? How could Liston do that if he was so "weak" ? :rolleyes:o_O
And bare in mind that was a old Liston. A 57-58 Liston bounces Frazier's head like a basketball.

He won't beat any of those. Maybe Moorer, but I doubt that.

The funny thing is that you say "cooper hurt him even harder than Frazier did" but Liston could not hurt Ali at all.

My post is just fine. Liston could not hurt him cause he never connected the way Frazier and Cooper did.
And Liston was past his prime.

You can laugh all you want, but he doesn't stand a chance. He'd barely be a low ranked contender in the 90's.

Lewis, Tyson (past prime), Bowe, Holyfield - they all obliterate Frazier.
Frazier also gets beat by Mercer, Ruddock, Morrison, Briggs, Tua and Moorer.
Hell, he's probably 50:50 against McCall, old Foreman and old Holmes.
