If I scroll through the list of heavies on say Max Schmeling's or Jack Sharkey's or Primo Carnera's resume, with the exception of a few, many on here would say that they sucked and wouldn't get anywhere today. Is that bias against the old timers?

It does not have to do with being old time guys, it has to do with being mediocre or small or both things at the same time.
Schmeling, Sharkey and Carnera would not win a belt today not even in a ps4. At least in the hw division

    The good ones were small.
    The big ones were bad.

No. It has more to do with lack of genuine boxing knowledge and bias like old Charlie Cheswick here.

No, it's just how things are. Sportsmen improve with time. This happens in every sport, boxing ain't no different.

I do not believe this forum, in the main, thinks in this^ way.

Moreover - while you use the term "old timers", you do happen to have named three boxers, who were in and around an era, widely regarded as one of the weakest in heavyweight history.

Yes and no. It depends on how much the poster knows.
