OK so I rank mainly on H2H, although that doesn't strictly mean the eye test, resume has to be considered so we know the level at which a fighter is performing.

I only include fighters I've watched fight, and I tend not to include active fighters as their placing is too dynamic.

    So here's my LW list

    1 Roberto Duran
    2 Joe Gans
    3 Benny Leonard
    4 Henry Armstrong
    5 Carlos Ortiz
    6 Pernell Whitaker
    7 Barney Ross
    8 Julio Cesar Chavez
    9 Ike Williams
    10 Floyd Mayweather

    HM: Arguello, Pacquaio, Canzoneri, Mosley

Are there any people you feel should be in that aren't? Any orders that need changing?

As an added caveat, when Rummy does his greatness lists, I will clearly place more emphasis on achievement and resume. This is just my H2H list.

I’d have Pea higher of rating mainly on H2H personally

Ar-goo-elll-o I think was a great at lightweight. As a matter of fact, the best since Doooo-rann. He was almost like an assassin in there.

That was my default position, but actually when I watch the guys rated above him, Pea doesn't, to me, look any superior.

I love Canzoneri, I really do.

But if you fight with low hands against Floyd you are just gonna get tagged, over and over, plus Floyd has a size advantage.

They rest of your top 10 are all too slow and unskilled. None of the other boxers listed are anywhere near as skilled as those 2

Floyd was virtually beat by JLC, but he schools Duran? Shut up you fool.

Duran after No Mas was in no-way comparable to the slim, prime stone-cold killer that he was at 135. He chased boxers down for fun there. Floyd would've lost to him, and if Benitez fought the version which beat Leonard (a fight you conveniently neglected mentioning) then he'd have lost to.

I'm going to assume you haven't actually watched fights of the others I listed.

Such a stacked division. Surprised to see no mention of Mandell at all though tbh. Especially given Joyce is mentioned twice haha
