Fight rewind from sky sports, Can people do a new review on this infamous loss, what impact did this figt have on Khan`s so-called legacy? I put this in general because Khan hasn`t retired yet.

Khan doesn't have a legacy to speak of, so this KO loss means nothing. Khan's neither an ATG nor a HOFer.

Khan probably isn’t a hall of famer but the dude has done well for himself. Has beaten a lot of good opponents and world champs. He has a better legacy than Brook that’s for sure.

Khan has certainly made his impact on the sport, he belongs in the discussion for notable fighters of this era (for better or worse).

I remember watching this fight with my jaw on the floor, and got a big chuckle. I love seeing the hyped money fighter lose.

Amir Khan introduced me to boxing and i will forever be indebted to him

from olmypics to channel 5 then to big time america

within 2 years of this brutal KO loss he beat the bogeyman maidana to become champ at 140 in FOTY then got ducked by Bradley

    bow down to King Khan

The only man to back his fellow brit Tyson Fury against Wladimir

he may be abit of a jerk off but he is still one of the best this country has produced

What was your reaction to his upset loss to Prescott? Did you think he would bounce back and become a champion at the time or was a bit of a hypejob who wouldn’t ever win a world title?

Khan was a poor man`s Calzaghe, had the fast combo`s but none of the savvy, never elite at all.

    Not all that much.

He won a world title the following year against Kotelnik and made a few 'decent' defences including Maidana who he dropped. He was robbed against Lamont Peterson and then following that Garcia just wiped him clean out (with there being no disgrace to losing to Garcia)

Then he strung more decent wins together before succumbing to Canelo who was FAR bigger than him.... basically Khan a former Lightweight again showed balls taking that fight against a fighter who recently chinned Kovalev at LHW.

He should probably call it a day now though....

I remember watching this with my mate... My mum was off to work and she said.. Aww I want to watch this incase that overated twat gets beaten... But I've gotta go.... Fight was over and she was cheering before she'd even got chance to leave the living room lol

There was a point where I thought Khan had put it all together... He was fighting people I thought he'd avoid ( maidana) and looking quite good doing it... He was in some entertaining scraps... I actually found myself becoming a fan n then it all came crashing down and he started years off while being a diva thinking he could sit on his arse and get the mayweather and pacquiao fights.... One thing I'll never slag him off for though... Kid had alot of heart
