Will be released later this year. This content is protected Titled "What does it take to suceed" My gut feeling, a multi millionaire father and a pre existing established business.
Haha the silver spoon brigade are going to be all over him for this. That said even with Daddys money, he's the one that has taken British boxing to the next level over the past few years you can't knock the success he's had. The man is a born salesman.
At the first page; Don't buy books labeled "How to get rich fast", "What it takes to succeed", "How to become a millionaire".
At the same time though, he’s killed off normal competitive fight nights and now we have one big fight and 5/6 1/100 favourites. We have to pay £20 for it and there’s not enough of them to keep boxing fans happy. Then we have Next Gen which are a farce. A few years ago he had the balance a bit better but the last couple of years have been shocking. It coincides with a lot of very good and very marketable fighters retiring. He is struggling I think.
Yep, multi millionaire father, take over a pre established business in which father has all the ties in the world oh and don’t forget, a monopoly over the only TV company to televise said business to the fans if only we were al talented as you Eddie
Don't know if you've seen the latest hearn on boxing social vid. But Eddie really goes into how he's making it his life's work to make boxing work off the same model as dana whites and his ufc. He goes into how boxing is so bad with all the different belts and fighters signed with different promoters and t.v stations and they never face each other. And now he's the one that should put everythi g under one roof with on governing body. H He was really getting into it tbf to him, but that's what al Haymon tried to do with pbc and it didn't work. Maybe this is a converstatiin rhat dezerves its own thread But in reference to ur post would Eddie if he did get a new model working in boxing would he still put a load of one riders on...probably!
I haven’t watched it mate. Can’t argue with them points he’s making and i’d be all for that but it’s one of them... believe it when you see it.
Rumour has it there is not one reference to Barry Hearns's close friendship with Jeffrey Epstein in this book.
Disappointing. If Epstein was still with us, the Barry Hearn Fight island could have been a very different proposition to UFCs
