    Please, this is one of the stupidest match up for a long while, an ATG , best LH ever, was a fantastic MW , beat Burley twice, beat Moore 3/3 last time by KO , and some punters on here think Usyk has a chance PLEASE.....

    I could argue for Usyk against anybody at his weight, but he'll never surpass Charles' resume. If you're going by the eye test, then yes, Usyk could (not would, could) do it. If you're talking resume then Usyk is SOL.

    Here's my guess at someone's thought process that's picking Usyk here;

    "Usyk is not too small for Fury. Fury hasn't had to deal with anything like Usyk before"

    "Charles is way too small for Usyk. He never had to fight guys that big"

    I think Usyk is hell of skilled and arguably the best cruiser in history, insofar as that division has existed. That's why you could pick him.

    Then again, Charles wasn't exactly short in the skills department himself, and the weight difference is not that big, so ... :nusenuse:

    Uysk without question has the skill and talent to win this. He completely cleaned out his weightclass aside from having an extremely successful amauter career. We all know that Charles is a legend in this sport and is held in the highest regard. We won't have a full picture of Uysk's career until he is retired but at this point, any reasonable person that knows boxing can see how good he is.

    It's one thing to look like the best it's another to prove it. I'm sorry but beating guys like gassiev and bellew means very little from a historical perspective in comparison to beating Archie Moore and Joe Walcott. I'm not even sure how it compares to Holyfield beating Qawi

    Usyk hasn’t faced anybody of Ezzard’s caliber yet as a pro.

    Plus Briedis could hang with anyone below 200lbs. If he beat Walcott, I wouldn't be surprised.

    The division Usyk cleaned out was one of the toughest divisions ever. Even the second stringers look world class. But I also agree that on resume they cant touch the guys that Charles fought.

    CW is sooooooo good right now. Guys like Kudryashov are dangerous in any era, and he's virtually a third-rater today.

    I think Briedis is the third best CW ever H2H (maybe 4th, I go back and forth between him and Gomez) and Usyk beat him 8-4 IMO.

    What is Usyk’s best career win again? I am sorry but this thread has become a joke.And the best cruiserweight is still Evander Holyfield by the way.

    You're right, he hasn't - but this is H2H, not resume.
