When Amir Khan was knocked out in 51 seconds by Breidis Prescott | Fight Rewind

I was at the armory when my buddies came up laughing hysterically telling me how my boy Khan just got blown out in under a minute. I had the sickest sensation in my stomach, somehow I knew they weren't lying. I think I sat at a computer writing math gibberish on post-it notes stuck all over the screen trying to disprove this chain of events. I'm awful at math, so after a few weeks of gibberish i just had to accept that Khan walked himself right pin point into a bomb like he was happily skipping down the street to go to the movies or something. There was just no way of making any kind of sense of it.

 

Khan's fanboys will try to say that Prescott was a hard puncher, but he never knocked out anyone of note after Khan.

 

Unfortunately, you're dead-on. All the talent and skill in the world and then some, yet he could **** it away in the blink of an eye against a fighter who had no right even being in the same gym as him.

Truly awful Ring IQ and generalship and way too impulsive. When he should have been hopping on his bike to recover, nah, eff that, gun fight center of the ring.

 

There are elderly cancer patients who could take a punch better than Khan.

 

Khan’s legacy is that of a Glass Jawed hype job that has been brutally KOed in most of his biggest fights. Khan has no Chin. None.

 

Why is Khan so hated? Good fighter. Obvious deficiencies but he competed at a high level and had a good career.

Fred Evans won Silver at a young age like Khan, and he's unknown, He never got no celebrity status and everything on a plate.

Luke Campbell won Gold ffs and never got nowhere near either.

Kell would have destroyed Khan. Kell moved up 2 classes to take on close to prime GGG when none of the middleweight contenders wanted anything to do with Gennadi. Kell did pretty well until his eye socket gave out. Shame because Kell is a true warrior and deserves much love and respect.

 

I think he would do well against Brooks
