Max Baer vs Ken Norton

Norton jabs Baer's head off. I think Ken would see that right hand coming a mile away all night and that's literally all he has to worry about here.

 

If that would be the case, then Baer wouldn't have done much in his era. Yoi talk about him like he was Luis Firpo.

Max may have had a size and talent gap above the contemporary competition, but it still isnt enough in my opinion to exceed that gap to Norton. I think Norton lasts and pounds Baer down later in the fight.

Yes, Baer was limited but he wasn't just a man with hard right hand. Otherwise he'd not be as good as he was.

Max beat plenty of fighters bigger than him. I don't get this argument, Baer wasn't giant in his day.
