There was a MW from my neck of the woods, Leicester, Shaun Cummings.
Fought for the European title. He was ok, nothing special.
He was known as a dreadful character around the city. A nasty piece of work. I don’t know many details.
He had a motorcycle accident, which left him paralysed
He was eventually murdered & dismembered by his carer !

I saw a documentary about that about 3 months ago, a real dickhead.

 

Can`t remember, Ward just repied to rough diamond saying ''you`re bothering me'' and tapped his forehead patronizingly.

 

I think we both posted something similar in the British Boxing section fairly recently !
I didn’t see the documentary, but l used to follow a few boxers from Leicester ( Sibson & Pyatt ) but Cummings was a always known as very dodgy.
I think he was a bouncer/doorman, who apparently ‘enjoyed’ his work a little too enthusiastically.
I’ve heard a few stories of him getting money out of people in his own little way.
