Cleveland Williams is nowhere near even Ingemar Johansson in any OBJECTIVE metric.

I find it hard to believe a middleweight would "murder" a good heavyweight with one punch power in the right hand.

You say Williams lost 13 times, neglecting to add 8 of those losses came after he had been shot and 7 of them when he was past 35 years old.The only thing "delusional here is you ,describing yourself as "objective" lol.

Yes I do and what's more I'd bet on Williams to do it.

Yet he did that to Peter Maher who was good heavyweight with one punch power in right hand. Twice in fact.

Doesn't say much for Maher but then again he was pretty much a light heavyweight.

Strange that Williams' KO loss to Satterfield is written off because he was young, yet Williams is allowed his KO of a young Terrell, even though both amount to a young prospect being KO'd by a more experienced slugger.

And that's pretty much Williams' best win. Beyond that, his high points boil down to a draw with Eddie Machen, and wins over the likes of Roger Rischer, Billy Daniels and Alex Miteff, which aren't really that impressive. Williams reminds me of a Frank Bruno, someone who could clean up the journeymen and guys on the fringes, but would come up short against the very best.

We can argue whether Ingo's wins over Cooper, Erskine, Richardson etc are more impressive than Williams' wins, but that's really just splitting hairs. Ingo has the major wins that Williams was never able to get, so there's no question to me who rates higher.

Seeing your posts it's obvious you don't. You just called a well respected member of these boards delusional and saying he is no longer credible simply because he doesn't share your "objective" opinion.

Their is a reason I seldom engage with you, and it is because you are disengenious, intenionally misleading, rarely offer anything of substance, seem to think repeating the same thing while ignoring the rebuttal makes you the winner, and lastly, insult others by calling them stupid, delusional, etc just because their views differ from yours.

To sum it up; You're a clown, and everyone on this thread is tearing you to shreds.

The difference between Cleveland Williams and other contenders is that he was shot so never got to see what a run of him his bets looks like

Fighting nobodys, has beens, and never weres. Wow! I will say as Ive always said who exactly did Williams beat for all his fanboys to blubber over him? Billy Daniels? Johnny Holman? Case closed. When the best win on your record is over a green, unrated Ernie Terrell its pretty silly to be waxing poetic about the guy.

Lol he was over thirty when he was shot and had been a pro for about 13 years. We did see what a run of him at his best looked like. It looked a big muscular protected guy bowling over retreads and nobodys before losing to contenders.

50 cent got shot 9 times and then punched out Floyd Mayweather and also put out a classic album. So what’s the big deal?
