Tommy Hit man Hearns relinquished his WBO Supermiddle weight belt in 1990.
Eubank took the vacant belt in
that desperate battle with Watson of course.
What if.. Tommy had put his title on the line once more against, a not entirely convincing in his last fight Eubank?
    12 rounds. Who's the champ?

I think Eubank has a great chance. Hearns isn't stopping him.

I actually like Eubank as well here. A natural super-middle/light-heavy with a cast iron chin and a hard punch was not a good match for Tommy.

Eubanks has a chance if he works the body. If Hearns can avoid a brawl he wins by just out boxing him.

Tough fight and when Tommy was slowing down after a few knockout losses. If Tommy smart he could win a decision. He would have to fight smart and not go for a brawl and just win each round as it comes. It is up to Hearns.. I think Benn was tougher for Tommy than Eubank.

Agreed. Hearns gets slept by Benn.

Eubank was ready to go in the 11th round v Watson, if he was in that state v Hearns he would have been stopped, Tommy was far more powerful than Watson and a far better finisher.

The Hearns from the Hagler fight with have destroyed Benn, too fast and accurate, he was far more skilled than the Middleweight version of Benn and his jab would have been too much also, Tommy wasn`t as impressive at 168, after fighting Andries at 175 his body lost it`s definition and he lost a lot of his old speed, however Benn`s KO rate at 168 was less impressive than at 160, I don`t think Benn hit harder than Leonard at 168 so Tommy would take his shots better than he would have at 160, a close one.

They were overrated, but all of them would stand a good chance against Hearns at 168. At 160 the Hearns from the Hagler fight toys with all three, different class, Hagler would have had them for breakfast, they were never in at that level.

Tommy beat Hill at 175 who was just as good as Eubank and he stopped Andries at 175 something Eubank never did, however after the Andries fight when Tommy fought at 168 his body lost tone and definition and he lost his old speed so Eubank would have a great chance.

I don't discount Hearns' chances. He was an all-time great and of course he could pull this off. But if you could hang in there with Hearns, take his best shots and bang with him you had a good chance. I think Eubank has a good chance.
