Lee admitted that his brother was better than him, Andrew looked absolutely electric until the injury lay off, he should have had a few tune ups and a proper camp before the Martinez fight, I believe he would have won then, he was winning before the stoppage and that was with with no proper camp or adjustment to the conditions, not quite John Fury fry up before a fight prep but still awful and badly managed.

He didn't really have killer power at that weight but he was just so fast, after the early knockdown against Rosales he got up and absolutely schooled him, coasting through rounds, making it look easy. I was convinced that we were watching a future World Champion. I'm really gutted for him, I was a huge fan.

Very sad, he has a bad alcohol problem and is currently homeless being put up in a hostel. Such a waste of talent

very sad news. Hugely talented but sadly that is only one piece of the puzzle. Hope he can find some stability in his life

Very sad to hear this news.

About time 10% of PPV loot generated is ringfenced to help boxers and families suffering death, injury and hardship.

Unfortunately for Andrew he has been given lots of opportunities and help which he has rejected. Hopefully he will come to his senses as the support is there for him

I like this idea. As long as the fighters were evenly matched could still make for entertaining viewing.

The Ultimate Boxer thing that Nick Webb won was like a journeyman prizefighter tournament

I've just read that he hasn't retired. Moving to Marbella in 2 weeks for training apparently.

I believe if he had signed with Eddie Hearn and Matchroom, he would have already won a version of the world title.

Read it from Chris Lloyd on Twitter. Guy that's done commentary on Sky before, Darren Barker's mate and general boxing guy. His post was a pic from a post from Andrew Selby himself. I didn't see it on Andrew Selby's Twitter so it must be from his Facebook page or something, which I don't have.

I saw it shared too -- good news! Also read the mtk gym is closing down and that is where he was based before so I wonder what his plan is for training
