Eh? Where do you get that from? I'm a huge fan of Golovkin and I know that's not true. He might be a top 10 MW though.
You're speaking for yourself. Pre-Canelo, people were saying some crazy stuff.... Anyhow, I have to really think about where I would rank him all time. With names like MMH, Robinson, Steele, Monzon, RJJ, Greb, McCllelan, Cerdan, Zale, Tiger, Bhop, I'm almost certain he won't crack my top 10.
Most people realise he has been unbelievably good He’s probably into the twilight of his career & past his very best. This should not overshadow what a great champion he’s been. He will go down as an all time great in my opinion. Maybe he’s been underrated of late, but that’s due to his age possibly. In his prime he was a genius.
I'm pretty sure the people who class him as an ATG scored 1 or both of the Canelo fights in his favour.
As l stated, just my opinion. I don’t think he ducked anyone. Canelo x 2 could easily have gone his way. How would you define an ATG ?
I see the ATG group as the 100 beat fighters of all time. I don't think he has the accolades along with the resume to be considered one of the best 100 fighters of all time.
I respect that. Could it be possible if a boxer is so good, has all the attributes to be a great, he could be ducked, therefore his resume could be seen as weak ? I not saying this has happened to GGG, but some fighters are avoided like the plague.
Abel Sanchez: "We feel we won, everyone seems to think we won, except the two judges that scored the 12th for Canelo. Al Bernstein watched the fight without the commentators and he scored the 12th easily for Golovkin, so of course we felt like we won, we felt like we won that night."
One has to wonder what type of weak minded poster see's someone say that and takes them completely serious?!
1) They're kiddies that began watching boxing in 2012 2) They're alts trying to stir up the pot 3) They're trolls Take your pick. I also suspect murk might be misremembering some stuff.
