Max Baer vs King Levinsky II (Real Fight) - Lost Baer Fight Films

I believe this is one of the oldest films in existence of Baer. There are two that are older though: 1) his first fight with Levisnky earlier that year, and 2) ringwise has a 15-minute clip of his fight with Paulino Uzcudun on film

I've bought four dvds from them that were all good.
Like I said, ringwise.com has part of the Uzcudun fight. You better have some cash ready.

 

As to ringwise, I have put off having them make me a dvd, so I don't know how good they are, but have heard good things about them.

The first Levinsky fight wasnt filmed. Wherever you saw that mentioned somebody probably got confused and called the second fight the first and their exhibition in Chicago which was filmed their second. Most lists refer to these as Baer-Levinsky 2 and Baer-Levinsky 3 (exh). Since technically their third meeting was an exhibition but Baer got angry and knocked Levinsky out. The Uzcudan fight film runs about 8 mins at the correct speed but the first two minutes or so footage of the undercard so theres really only about six minutes of the fight. Its a home movie taken from ringside by a spectator that jumps around quite a bit.

You better get the hell off my back. You just wait around for people to say stuff so you correct. Nobody needs that. Good thing for you this is online, otherwise you would have been leveled a long time ago, probably a few times before by guys less gracious than myself.

 

The guys I purchased from are retired or dead for the most part. Sweetfights has some good stuff though. I would steer clear of ringwise. Kurt Noltimier, who is ringwise, is the worst con man in the business.
