And fighters that never, who are they?

I think Foreman took to retiring well both times until the money troubles, but seemed genuinely content as can be post-retirement (2nd time around).

I don't think Mayweather has taken well to it. Lives the high life, but seems like the kind of guy who can't adjust to being "normal" and retired.

Max Schmeling did very well after boxing career. Luis Firpo made a fortune after retirement.

Ike Quartey returned to his native Ghana and built a few hospitals. He apparently has made a fortune post retirement in construction.

His good friend Winky Wright also seems pretty content. Still has all of his money and plays golf in Flordia everyday. Apparently he is a really good golfer.

Hopkins is of course really successful as a promoter and seems to be very healthy for a guy that fought until he was 50.

    What would Winky be worth?

Always seemed to have his head screwed on, and be a decent guy. So that's good to hear.

    Good shout on Lewis.

Lennox has turned down massive paydays, all whilst keeping his money. A very astute man.

Foreman, before his comeback, used to pop up occasionally in "where are they now" type pieces in the Ring. He seemed pretty content with his life and said he no longer boxed or even followed boxing.

His net worth is around 6 mil. I read an interview with him not to long ago and he is invested well and is just enjoying being a father and is an excellent golfer. Seems to be living the good life.

Larry Holmes, retired remarkably well - one of the few heavyweights of my generation to intelligently manage his finances. Sure, he made a comeback, but it was more for competitiveness than money - while he enjoyed the million dollar paychecks, he didn't need them. He's also been much more mellow in retirement, tended to be a bit feisty during his career.

Hagler, as mentioned - knew it was time to quit, and quit. Again, managed his money well.

Leonard "retired" several times, and had to get his butt thoroughly beaten by Camacho for it to finally take. Like Holmes, his comebacks weren't driven by finances, he had enough for several lifetimes - though in his case, I think it was more ego and needing the limelight

    Richie Woodhall. WBC SMiddleweight champ.
Trained British Olympic team. Very good boxing pundit.
Knows his boxing, talks a lot of sense.
