tbf Billy Nelsinho done bakole a favour that night by refusing to pull him out.he was wanting to quit and that's a bad look for a fighter.
The Povetkin fight is very very risky for Whyte. Now he has his mandated wbc title shot, I'm really surprised this one goes ahead. I don't see him outpointing or stopping the Russian at all.
Gonna be a very tight fight imo with some people saying Whyte won some saying Povetkin. With it being a match room show I think Whyte on points
And none of Whytes crew there chanting him on.... I will be having some dosh on Povetkin,i really cant understand the love for Whyte....Still looks like a novice to me
Fundamentally speaking, he's worse than Froch! Now that is saying something. I'd take Dubois to beat him within 12 months. Joyce would trouble him on work rate alone.
Can anyone realistically see Whyte KO Povetkin though? He's gonna caught I reckon, his defense and durability very suspect.
Povetkin is a KO waiting to happen. He's old, his chin isn't what it was, neither is his cardio. Hunter nearly had him out of there in a round, and Whyte did KO Del late, so anything can happen.
Carl Froch was fundamentally very good. Great jab, excellent footwork, great control of distance, super fit and good punch variety. To me thats very good fundamentals.
Are you joking? So you're saying he'd have got as far as he did without his ability to take a shot? Would you point at him to a beginner if it wanted to learn how to Box?
He shouldnt be - look at his resume for starters. Over half dozen with a better resume. Avoided pig punchers his whole career. Can't fight on the back foot or on the inside. Glass jaw he got mutiple times by probably the softest puncher in the top 20.
