RJJ's attributes vs Loma's skillset?

    Which comes out on top?

    Could somebody Roy's size be beaten by a same sized man but with Loma's skills?

    Could someone of Loma's size be beaten by a same sized guy with RJJ'S attributes?

    I think if the exact same two attributes & skillets met in the ring it would be putting it lightly to say its a "treat".

    Prime Roy Jones style beats any technical boxer, they don't get the time to get their boxing off, you have to have 1 punch KO power to beat Jones in his prime, you can't beat him over 12 rounds the only person I can think of that can beat Jones over 12 rounds would be Thomas Hearns with the height reach and jab, but the Loma style at the same size of roy jones would not work, the speed of Jones would beat him to the punch and Loma style would not be able to hit him.

    The only type of fighter who could beat a prime Roy is someone with solid fundamentals, really good speed, decent power, a long reach, solid chin,stamina,and a high work rate...

    So could a Loma who’s the same size beat him? Possibly... But Imo Roy’s speed, athleticism and unorthodox movements would be the deciding factor. But I totally agree that it would be amazing to witness that match up.

    I still cant work out a gameplan to beat a prime roy jones. Just so difficult to work something out for it. Just hoping for an off night. I think you could probably muster something up to beat loma with tho...probably wouldn,t work but at least you,d have something to start with. With roy it was so difficult cause he could make up the distance so quickly....hit you from what seemed like out of range.

    Probably, but he would had Loma's full skill set, then probably also: defense, footwork, approach, creations of puzzles on the fly, everything, etc. If anybody, he would be the closest candidate.

    Loma is the most skilled boxer of all-time and at times Jones didn`t look as impressive as Loma does in fights, Loma makes thenm say no mas and throws and lands far more shots than Jones used to, Loma`s work rate is far higher than Roy`s was, he would make Roy fight every minute of every round and out-work him, Roy was not the best fighter of all-time.
