I think he’d have fought Joe around the time he fought Benn and Collins if they’d have been big fights.

By 1997, he’d done everything he could apart from fight Roy.

I know that. But that level of speed, power and pressure could trouble anybody.

I don't see how. Collins overall boxing form was quite crude. I don't think he ever learned to punch properly. He was basically a arm puncher, which explains his lack of punching power. Defensively he was okay, but nothing special

If Sibson had fought Collins competition he most likely would of beat and lost to the same guys Collins did, with the exception of the first Eubanks fight. I think he would of lost to Eubanks the first time but he would of had a good chance of beating Eubanks the second time who clearly struggled to make the weight

Some drive spouted here. Roy Jones would have spanked all of them in his prime.
He would have made Collins look like a blind leprechaun walking home after 15 pints of guinness.

So why didn't he? Fictional resumes are meaningless. Toney was 207lbs when he entered camp for Jones & never fought at SMW again. That shows you were he was at. If a PRIME SMW champ was entering camp as basically a HW today it would send the forum into meltdown & the result would be written off months in advance. Yes, in the space of weighing in at 168 for the gruelling Williams fight & entering camp a couple of months later for the jones fight he'd ballooned up to HW  .. that is unprecedented TO DIS DAY still I think.. to dis day.. not even big statured SMWs like Bute ever got close to that.. & Toney then had fought MOSTLY at MW too which makes it even more of a disgrace that he was walking around as a HW LOL That SMW win (& loudon can pump it up all she wants) is invalidated somewhat by an unprecedented between fight weight gain & loss within just a couple of months .. I've never known a supposed peak SMW ballon up & down like that to that extent fight to fight.. never.. Toney isn't some mythical monster, over the next couple of years he'd lose to Griffin twice too.. so ye, Toney & Jones are great fighters sure but the fact is when Roy was fkin about with former SFWs & HWs at SMW or fighting at LHW there was a crop of talent: Benn, Dariusz, Liles, Nunn, Calzaghe, Graham, Collins, Eubank etc that he sidelined too.. & saying he woulda beat them doesn't mean he DID! Fact is HE DIDNT! Yes you could say all that about many fighters sure but Roy is this 'superman' who beats everyone, except MOST of those from his own time! LOL.. STOP attributing fictional wins to this mans resume, sick of it, it's nothing but an emotional crutch & deflects from the actual reality of what went on.

I feel Sibson may have beaten a prime Eubank.

Jones never used to land as many shots as Joe did in their respective primes.

You’ve already been educated on this on another thread. The one where you never returned.

Roy didn’t sideline all the fighters that you’ve mentioned. All you’ve done is name drop fighters who he didn’t fight.

Some of those names are ridiculous.

How was he ever going to fight a guy like Graham?

You possess zero knowledge of Roy’s career.
