I think Hearns greatest performance was at 154 v Benitez, that Hearns would have beat B-hop, Bernard never beat anyone on Wilfredo`s level, but I don`t know about Hearns at 160, he made more mistakes, he was great v Hagler but that was a brawl, B-hop v Tommy would be a chess match like the fight with Benitez and Hearns was never in a fight like that at 160, his jab would be a big factor though and he was better than Taylor so that gives him an edge, I wouldn`t be surprised if B-hop stopped him though, Hearns was hurt several times at 160, at 154 he was unbeatable.

Of course it's prime for prime or what's the point?

B'hops too canny, resilient and durable. He'd stop my man Tommy around 7. Hearns would certainly have his moments early, he is far too dangerous not to.

    Trinidad was better than Benitez.

Hopkins would get on Hearns ass. Wouldn't give him an inch to breath and eventually wear Hearns out and stop him late

If Hearns can keep it at range, he'll wreck Hopkins. That said, Hopkins often seemed to find a way to stink out the joint and make the other guy fight his fight. Not sure who wins, but probably the longer the fight goes on, the better Hopkins' chances.

Hearns on points. Trinidad was not better than Benitez.

I also think a lot of the end result is down to how Hearns sets out to fight. If his aim is to out box him, get a decision then that's a possibility. But if he comes out gunning for Bernard and goes all out on the attack, that could see a ko defeat for Hearns. Trying to ko Hopkins is no easy feat and could see Tommy blowing him self out and allowing B to take advantage of a tiring Hit man, gaining a late ko. In fact this is the outcome I'd say is more likely.

Agreed,If this is a 15 round fight and Hopkins doesn't get taken out early,,which he didn't,,Tommy gets weaker and weaker and gasses out from 13 -15. Tommy might have a chance in a 12 rounder.
