I just decided based on your response I would be wasting time entertaining this argumentative position you've taken as it is asinine to attempt to prove or disprove luck's existence with science. Luck is the idea that a far inferior competitor stands a chance to win because of highly unlikely variables aligning in his favor. It's not a scientific idea, thus any attempt to elaborate I feel is a waste of my time.

Way more than after. The NBA had something like 32 fights in one season. Stern came in and saw an image problem which included drugs and cleaned things up.

Ali would brutally embarrass and beat Wilt to the ground, and then laugh in his face.

Absolute joke of a thread. Why is this even allowed up? It isn't even proper classic Boxing discussion. No interesting thoughts, info or sources shared by OP. Delusional.

    TLDR.

See Julian Jackson vs Herrol Graham, David Haye vs Lolenga Mock and Oliver McCall KOing Lennox Lewis with his eyes closed.

Shaq has all type of physical advantages over De la Hoya but if he was intent on knocking Shaq out, it would have happened.

Yeah, just like Ali would never have beaten Wilt in a game of one on one, even if Ali could play a good game of basketball.

Ali never fought a guy that was 7 foot 2 tho. The tallest guy Ali ever fought was Terrell that I know of, at 6 foot 6.

I was watching Buddy Baer vs Joe Louis and thought, what if LeBron James fought prime Joe Louis? LeBron would repeatedly crash to the canvas. Now he may have been able to beat Louis in a foot race or in a game of basketball but would get flattened in a boxing ring with a prime Louis.

Kind of like how Michael Jordan thought he could just go play pro baseball. A basketball legend but he sucked on the baseball diamond. I've heard of some pro foot ball players and college football players who think they can just make the switch to boxing and make it at a top pro level. They may make a good local level amateur boxer but that's a long way away from being a top pro contender.

Delahoya never fought anyone 7'2 until he sparred Shaq and he did fine and he was outweighed by about 200 pounds

Yeah no way he would have stood a chance against Archie Moore. Jacobs may have become good enough to beat your local barroom bouncer but no way in hell was he beating a reigning world light heavyweight champion and top heavyweight contender with a shitload of experience in the ring.

Also, Archie Moore would also flatten Wilt Chamberlain.
