    Its really not that far fetched. The doctor might not have thought to inspect the back of a boxer's skull. Even casuals know that's an illegal blow and the least likely place for there to be severe damage.

    Fury has a lot to answer for attacking Deontay with a illegal weapon under his boxing gloves and switching his costume to make him wear that transformers monstrosity. I just hope the Wbc president will make the right decision and snatch that shiny belt off him. Give it back to the bomb squad.

    Whyte is fighting Povetkin, so I think it's only fair that Wilder is required to fight WBC #4 for it. I don't know about you, but Wilder-Ortiz 3 is pretty exciting IMO.

    Nonsense. A doctor examining a man for head injuries who didn't check the whole skull wouldn't find himself a doctor for very long.

    I'm waiting for them to start claiming the ring wasn't cushioned enough and he hit his head during a knockdown.

    Well this begs the question of what is considered a proper post fight examination of a fighter and how often they actually follow said guidelines.

    Research should have been done into this anyway, for the safety of the fighters. I mean are we forgetting how Ali was somehow cleared to fight for Holmes and Spinks? Or Oliver McCall for the 2nd Lewis fight? Is it unlikely? Sure. Impossible? Absolutely not. There is plenty of room for both human error and incompetence. Just a few week's ago I took my car to a tire repair shop and I noticed my car making jittery sounds. Apparently one of the idiot employees didn't secure the bolts properly and my tire was just barely on there. I almost died due to 1 person's egregious negligence.

    We can argue until planet Nibiru comes back into orbit and starts a zombie apocalypse, but it's ultimately pointless when we can simply wait a few days for an official statement from doctors.

    Wilder is in many ways the gift that keeps on giving. Not only can he not lose with good grace, he doubles down on the lame excuses. Then there's the fun of watching the dumbest following in professional sport pick those excuses up and run with them. This latest fight with Fury has seen it all. Wilder out performed from presser to ring walk to fight and then aftermath. The shameful throwing of Breland, the best man in that camp under the bus. Then the costume nonsense etc etc.

    This however is the cherry on top of the icing on top of the cherry on top of what ever. All of a sudden Wilder's fans have discovered the idea of an illegal punch. This is a breakthrough because all the way through his protected career those self same illegal punches have been invisible to them, perhaps because it was Wilder himself throwing them.

    Wilder fanboys don't understand that claiming gloves have been tampered with is pretty much the worst accusation you can make in boxing and they've done it multiple times to Fury.

    They don't complain about Wilder palming opponents and using his forearm overextending though. That is seriously painful.
