    Yeah because once Canelo sends the contract to AB, he will just flee to Russia quickly (Kovalev made AB **** his pants a few years ago & ran to Russia)

    I heard Canelo will never fight Trout, then I heard he'd never fight Lara, then I heard he'd never fight Golovkin, then I heard he'd never fight Kovalev.

    Say what you want about Canelo but he isn't scared of anyone.

    Fortuitous on scorecards, absolutely.

    Bit of an A-side diva, 100%

    Creator of the weird 155 division, certainly.

    But scared to fight someone, not a chance. Everyone he gets accused of ducking he fights sooner or later.

    Canelo has a great set of whiskers on him. But I think Beterbiev cracks those whiskers and knocks him sparko out.

    It would be a great fight.

    No he didn't. You must still be bitter about losing your bet to me over the Gvozdyk fight :lol:

    Beterbiev did not want to fight Kovalev because he was offered very small money and didn't want to go in front of a pro Russian crowd in Moscow with himself being Chechen. He wasn't sure it would be on fair terms.

    However, if Kovalev wants it he can get it any time.....all 30 seconds of it or while it lasts against Beterbiev.

    The reality here is Beterbiev is recognised by everyone as the man in the division. If Canelo wants to have that crown he'll have to pursue the fight.

    He will fight Beterbiev. In a couple years when he is 37 and has looked bad in a previous fight.

    Who said that he would never fight Lara and Trout? Both were never seen as monsters. Just boring types.

    Posters at the time. Canelo was very much seen as a paper champion who wouldn't fight any movers or defensive boxers. Look back at the threads.

    Trout was beating Cotto whilst Canelo was beating no one of note.

    To be fair to ginger nuts he is not a LHW and AB is a beast of a LHW. It's a size mismatch and i don't blame ginger for not wanting it.

    Canelo will never fight Beterbiev is not the same as Canelo is afraid. Course he won’t fight Beterbiev, that dudes a monster. However if he did ever face him I could see the corpse of Canelo being propped up by his team after twelve rounds to get his unanimous decision win from C.J. Ross, Adalaide Byrde and Dave Moretti.
