not to mention Hagler's loss to Leonard was still a good exit from boxing for the champion

I clearly stated why in my first response to you. Because seeing boxers get floored, barely survive and lose changes the way you think of them.

People didn't see Monzon lose, so not only can't they picture it, they don't even freaking believe dates fight happened, who knocked down whom, or whether Monzon got dropped three times in a loss or none at all.

Because THEY DIDN'T SEE IT. Is that clear?

Are you going to say something to them, or are you going to continue arguing with me because I've stated the obvious?

I'll just take your word for it. I've seen lots of Spanish, and it looks like Spanish. What made you want to take up learning to read Spanish?

My rudeness? Because I pointed out you were wrong about who floored whom (not to mention when the fight even occured)?

Because I pointed out you don't believe things unless you see them with your own eyes?

    Enjoy the lounge.

Very underrated guy. He was primarily a puncher imo, but he was a really great boxer. He looked great when he fought Briscoe, he was so fast and mobile. I think a lot of people are unaware of what an intelligent fighter Hagler was, and what a good boxer he was. One of my all-time favorite videos to watch, actually:

He's not been the nicest guy Murrieta, but he's pretty nice compared to some of the people I've talked to.

People like him are worthless, a waste of time. You can be friends with him, I do not talk to immature people.

If you react like that when I correct you on who dropped who and the date of fight ... I can only imagine if I posted a video of Monzon getting dropped three times by a journeyman and losing.

    Have a nice weekend.

Yeah - But you asserted that Monzon's reputation would take a "HUGE" hit.

I think you're exaggerating (to put it mildly).

I'm going to take a punt here and suggest that this would matter more to Monzon's detractors.

The only thing that is "obvious", from the scenario you have proposed, is that there would be some new information. As to how people would react to that information, given that it would not change, in the slightest, what Monzon achieved in the longer run, you have no idea about.

    HUGE hit? Unlikely.

At most, I can only think that it would feed the micro-arguments of people, who for one reason or another, don't want to give Monzon any credit as a Championship Boxer.

I read his autobiography that was written in Spanish, this worthless debate is not worth the trouble, I would rather engage in mature conversations about important things, not hypothetical material, Have a nice weekend as well.
