Zepeda inside six since he probably wants to get some rounds in. Also Castaneda is a late replacement

Well he in his only professional defeat so far, in February he managed to hold a decent boricuan prospect named Yomar Álamo to a MD. :nusenuse:

And he was on a run of three okay wins before that (Venegas Jr. in the video above, followed by Eudy Bernardo and Stan Martyniouk) - so he isn't total garbage. But on the other hand, he would be a rightful underdog versus Chon even without coming in on short notice.

Zepeda by comfortable decision. But Castaneda will come forward and wing shots at him. He gassed just a bit last time out. He's not a terrible fighter, but Zepeda's feet are a lot better and Castaneda won't be able to stay in range to get enough work done. I thought Castaneda beat Alamo last time out but Alamo got the nod. Close fight that could have gone either way. Pretty good action in that one with Alamo using lateral movement and trying to score from the outside. Zepeda fights in a similar fashion to Alamo, but he's a level better.

Turns out I'm working evenings all week and won't be home until midnight, so won't be able to do RBR tomorrow night. I'll have to just catch up on DVR and disable my Twitter notifications to avoid spoilers.

That is a tremendous effort for what has been a very mixed bag of weekday ESPN cards over the past few weeks. I must say though I respect your commitment!

Also, I happened to catch his match against Alamo the other day, Kendo is very solid, if his chin holds up, I think he might pose Zepeda more than a few problems, I doubt he'll have the power to hurt him or land on him enough to grind him down and get a late stoppage, but I could see him closing the gap late, and losing a 6-4 type decision. While even though I'm a Chon fanboy, he does have some gas tank issues.
