Regardless of whether we agree or not it's nice to see comments like this. Of course it's possible. However, we can dismiss it either way. The responsibility strictly lies with the athlete. If he can't find supplements that he's sure are not contaminated, then he shouldn't be taking them.
Let's make the drugs he takes legal so he never fails a test again. Sounds ridiculous? That's what they did with Clenbuterol after Canelo failed multiple tests.
Some background info on GW1516 (also known by other names too) This content is protected Fat a huge guy like Miller, this stuff is probably the only go-to PED out there.
The WBC did. And for a reason. And there is more to clenbuteral than you seem to know. Canelo actually has a case for his innocence. Go read more on the subject matter. Not saying that Canelo was innocent, as I don´t know enough. But it´s an interesting read and the subject isn´t as black and white as people make it out to be.
Nope it is unfair & mean-spirited to smear everyone who does not believe nearly everyone is a drug cheat as a "fool". It is very naive to beliebe either nobody cheats, most who cheat are innocent & there were mistakes, or that nobody who does not get caught is guilty. It is just as irrational to have the cynical, unsupported faith that almost everybody is a cheater & a liar. Badbot makes some *excellent* points above. The risks & stigma alone + the absurd assumption that no sport has any effective programs to catch cheaters & deter them-along with the other factors I mentioned-makes a strong case that it is crazy & just the mirror image of extrame naivety to assume most everyone is able to, chooses to, or wants to be a drug cheat. Making arguments about how it helps & folks are afraid to not be able to keep up with other juicers & most can get away with it in some sports...These are not sound & intellectually tenable arguments. That does not establish how many do or do not cheat. Motivations for not cheating are Honor, integrity, a belief that one can suceed clean, a fear of being caught, & banned, fear of being exposed & a ruined repitation, fear of health consequences... It is not sensible to make general arguments for the many reasons one may or may not cheat, then conclude with no good specific evidence that mmost all either do or do not cheat! It is as "foolish" as finding say the numerous men who are short or the size of most woman & consclude there is no difference in average height, to use a neutral example. Cherry-picking & using an a priori belief to select the evidence. Similarly, many psychologically need to believe something that is comforting or reinforces ego or their prejudices or does not compel them to take a moral stance... I am tired of these lazy, senseless non-arguments that-sometimes through ridiculing those who do not have the politicall correct view-seeks to work the ref & convince absent any actual evidence that everyone is or must be corrupt. smh.
I love the Freudian slip of "fat a huge guy like Miller." Please do not edit it now that it has been pointed out. Really excellent. The division would be more interesting with Godzilla in it. That does not make it fair to the other fighters.
He should have but he is surrounded by hood rats who dont understand the science behind it all and Miller does not understand his own physiology. He has a SLOW metabolism so any large quantities of any PEDs will take much longer to flush out.
Yup, clearly... everyone else is cheating, Miller is the only clean fighter in boxing, let's make a petition to save him. His career is now over, no one will touch him now. Isn't it ironic that the highly educated boxing scholars of this site generally accuse the ripped and dedicated athletes of roiding, based purely on appearance? Yet somehow it's generally always the fat, out of shape, lazy tubs of lard who get popped?
Canelo? V Klitschko? Roy Jones Jr? Shane Mosely? Sorry to burst your bubble but boxing is full of drug cheats from amateur to top level.
I didn't think Miller could sink any further after e positive test but his whining since then has proved me wrong. I don't like cheats but I actively despise people who when they're caught bang to rights try to play the victim. I hope he goes to wrestling or mma, I don't think boxing needs him.
Can you remember or name a boxer that admitted to taking peds after failing a test? I know there’s been a couple but they are rare. I don’t know why but for some reason Lucas Browne comes to mind?
