If anything he deserves props for turning down the fight, everyone knows canelo fights are rigged, he would be selling his belt for a paycheck so i give him a lot of credit for turning it down. More fighters need to start doing the same and freeze canelo out...

Saunders is a guy that's easy to ignore. I don't know about his theatrics outside the ring, but he should figure out how to bring some of it in the ring with him. I wouldn't call this a duck as I don't really think anybody cares if Canelo-Saunders ever gets made, but I think he may come to regret his decision here if he never gets another crack at this payday.

Clenelo and his games. No doubt there was a rehydration clause.

You know I just cannot understand how any REAL boxing fan can still support the Canelos & Mayweathers of the sport. Everyone on this forum, apart from the blind lemming types, fully believes both Canelo & Floyd have cheated themselves, have benefited from dubious officiating & have had their asses covered by the state commissions. BJS for all his faults is no idiot, he knows he's not going to get a fair crack at Canelo, NO ONE has yet in Vegas. While you guys support the "fights" the corruption will continue the State Commissions sure aren't going to stop it lol

I gotta say, I don't get why he'd turn it down, unless he's been/still is heavy on the coke. I think it's foolish to suggest a pro fighter is so scared of another that he'd turn down a career payday. So there's gotta be another reason.

I won't fault Saunders for refusing to fight because he won't get a fair shake (if that's what he's doing.) It just means he won't get paid a lot of money. Dave Tiberi took that stand with a much smaller sum of money at stake.

Saunders blows up big between fights, about 14 Stone walking around. Yes, you can starve it off but you couldn't knock your Granny out. You can't train 2 Stone off in 8 weeks.

    It's one of three scenarios:
    1. BJ Sinus needs more time to flush the PED's out of system.
    2. BJ Sinus needs more time to flush the illicit intoxicants from his system and come down from cruissrweight.
    3. Both of the above.

So, let me get this straight, you call someone pathetic for defending Saunders for not fighting Canelo, then you hyper fixate on TWO THINGS, then you promptly ran out of ideas so you had to reach for a third by combining the first two. So witty of you. While never having it dawn on you, that the very two things that you're holding against him, Canelo Alvarez himself also happens to be guilty as sin of the same. Okay hypocrite.

But you're right, Saunders has a long way to go to be on Canelo's level. He needs to become a total diva that adds rehydration clauses, catchweights, target a bunch of shot to hell has beens nearing retirement, glass jaws, feeble cripples and drunks coming off of a bad beating, And wait out his opponents until he thinks they've gotten enough age and mileage on them that they're not a threat, yet still need the house judges to bail him out twice.

That's like a Top 12 that Saunders hasn't come close to achieving.

100% duck, imagine if this was the other way around? All the garbage Canelo would've been getting, BJS is all hype has done nothing and now he's ducking the biggest payday of his career.

Saunders explained that although its a fight with Canelo he won't be compensated as if it is a fight with Canelo. Due to recent events he's to take a massive pay cut while Canelo will still recieve his normal purse. The best thing that Saunders can do is wait it out and hope for a shot next year when he can be fully compensated.
