No no, this was prime Vitali and a past prime overweight Lennox Lewis. And still, Vitali got stopped on cuts, no controversy there. You have no proof otherwise. A loss is a loss. I am not too impressive with Vitali's record I gotta say.

Lewis was a fighter at age 35-37 who showed NO signs of hitting the wall, until he meet Vitali. As I said, he looked brilliant starching Rhaman 1.5 years before, and no one said he looked old vs. Tyson at age 36 either. So once again, show me one fight prior to Vitali where Lewis looked shot? You can't. Its an excuse so and so was too old, and you use it ad nausea for Holyfield.

I think Vitali was a better fighter post Lennox Lewis.

Also, most people think Vitali, not Holyfield was Lennox's best win.

Okay, now you're exposed for who you are. A delusional hater. You do know Wlad offered James Toney a title match and Toney ran away from it, fighting a nondescript opponent next instead. Either Klitschko would have given Toney street like beating to the point where he would not show his face in 313.

People ran from fighting Vitali. It's a fact, but since you don't;seem very aware I'll spell it out for you again. Haye and Valuev backed out of fights with Vitali. We saw Lewis run from the re-match. But you think Vitali was afraid of James Toney? That's hilarious. I do get it why you might say it. He KO'd Holyfield so...

I said Lewis was past prime and overweight. And that is correct so I have no idea what you are writing there.

    No need to get offended.

First, I was referring to Vitali not Wlad. So your answer is not even worth addressing. It is once again factually incorrect to state Toney ran away from Wlad. The fight did not materialize because Toney (who was 41 by then) was not ranked by the IBF.While Toney still wanted the fght,Wlad did not want to fight in a non title bout.So if anbody backed out, it was Wlad but it was rather a case that they did not want a non title bout.

I am looking at how Vitali did against Byrd and johnson, he would no look good against Toney. It is not a question of being afraid, James would make him look bad. This goes back to former sparring sessions in the Wild card gym as well. That is why they tried to match Toney with his little brother Wlad.

"The likes of Shannon Briggs, and men like that, didn’t affect me because they were just ordinary fighters. They didn’t make an impression and I just chased them around. The men I faced in the seventies were more fearsome than the ones I faced in the eighties and the nineties, with the exception of Evander Holyfield. Evander could have competed in any era".
    -George Foreman-

I'm picking Evander, he was willing to endure much more pain and adversity than Vitali ever did, his combinations, stamina and footwork would be too much for him. Holyfield UD.

Holyfield was one of the three fastest, hand speed, heavyweights: Ali, Patterson, Holyfield. That's what Vitali would see.

I was showing you how Toney ran from a fight with Wlad. Toney declined the offer and fought a nobody next. Toney had a back and forth affair against Jirov, and you think he's stand a chance with Vitali? Not even Dino would pick Toney. Vitali would be peppering a short fat man covering up on the ropes trying to counter, but would not get the chance to do so. Vitali would win every round, and likely stop Toney late. Its a mismatch.

Yes, look at how far ahead Vitali was vs. Byrd with a torn shoulder two 120-108 score cards vs Johnson.

Hide had fast hands too. So did Solis? They lasted combined three rounds. Johnson had fast hands too. He did not win a round on 2 of the judges cards.

No--Holyfield was not among the 3 fastest heavyweight champions. Dokes and Tubbs for example had faster hands. Corrie Sanders had faster hands. I can name more...

Hide was comparing himself to Holyfield, prior to Bowe. How did that work out for him?

This was over 4 years before he met Vitali, during which he'd dropped out of the Ring ratings.

Show me the source where Toney backed out oft this fight?Again, I explained to you that Wlad backed out cause the IBF would not rank Toney in the Top10. Vitali would have a hard time connecting on the slick Toney, you can believe that.

Lol, okay Sam Peter, who you probably don't think much of beat James Toney...TWICE. And you think Vitali who obliterated Peter would have tough time hitting a 5'10" fat man who doesn't throw many punches? Please explain that one to me.
