    Whyte is all hot air.

    He's fought AJ & Parker.

No Ruiz, Hunter, Rivas, Ortiz... He wants Povekin, for god sake. That says it all.

There's a reason why he's waited for Wilder and wanted Povetkin so badly (limited & old).

I wonder what the numbers add up to with a mega fight in Russia/Ukraine, Fury would be game. Usyk will be going for undisputed in the top 2 divisions something not seen since Evander Holyfield. Anyone else been undisputed at Heavy and Cruiser?

Fury made his demand for the whyte fight and the wbc excepted
Whyte excepted fury stepped back on his own demands
This fight would have cleared everything up
And I think fury wouldve won and done the wbc a favour and the fans
The longer it goes fury stays wbc champ
And I don't see anyone taking that from him
    Shyte becomes more dangerous imo

Whilst I think he’s got a lot of heart and he’s a right handful on the night, I think he’s got a lot of deficiencies in his game. His footwork and balance look really poor at times, and he looks poor when he swings for the trees and almost falls over when he misses. His feet let him down against Rivas who eventually nailed him on the ropes and put him down.

Parker should have dealt with him the other year. Whyte knocked him senseless with that headbutt and was very very lucky to get the 10-8 round from what looked like an inevitable 10-9 round to Parker. He won’t go near Parker now. He wants a really old Povetkin instead. Wach made him look really bad.

This is really easy work for Fury. He boxes his head off and stops him.

Harsh calling him hot air, he has been WBC number 1 for over 1000 days, they won't give him a shot, what else is suppose to be doing?

He is calling out the WBC champion, that's exactly what he should be doing, putting pressure on the WBC and the Champion to give him his shot.

Anyway, Whyte fought Rivas, he won via decision.

Ortiz is 84 years old and Whyte wouldn't have got any real credit for beating him. Ortiz is massively overrated in my opinion, Ortiz best win is Jennings and that was so long ago, he hasn't done anything else worth talking about since, except get stopped twice by Wilder.

You name Hunter, he scraped a draw with Povetkin in his last fight, December 2019, then you hammer Povetkin as a choice as opponent for Whyte, don't understand that to be honest. Hunter is top 10 now, why was it OK for him to fight Povetkin but it isn't for Whyte?

As for Ruiz, I'd personally like to see it, it's a good fight in my mind and it might happen, Ruiz needs to get himself together though, he can't be expecting big money (which he would want) and turn up looking like an even fatter pudding than before and one that hasn't trained.

Ruiz needs a couple of quick wins or at least one solid win to get people interested in a Whyte fight, just to sell it, because it would be a PPV event here in the U.K.

Whyte hasn't done any less than the fighters around him in the last few years, in some cases he has done more than some who have had title fights, like Breazeale for example, yet people keep crapping on him.

    I just don't understand it.

I hope Whyte gets his crack, but I think he would be better off in a rematch with Joshua. He hasn't got the tools to beat Fury.

At least imo. No disrespect to him or his fans.

After two 50/50 fights, I think it’s safe to say that Whyte’s level is old Chisora. I honestly think Whyte v Wilder would’ve been a public execution, Breazeale style. He’ll try and rough Fury up for a few rounds but gets picked to pieces and stopped late.

I agree with aspects of your post but personally thought that Povetkin was extremely lucky to get a draw against Hunter. I thought he looked all his 40 years that night and he nearly got stopped in the first round. Povetkin needs to work on the inside to do his work, his chin as deteriorated as has his stamina, speed and timing. The fight suits Whyte perfectly at this stage imo. That said, I am absolutely desperate for a decent bit of boxing so I’ll be all over it :)
