Think this is a surprisingly dangerous tune up fight for Dubois.

Pfeifer is unbeaten, a former olympian with some big wins over top guys in the WSB.

Hes beaten Yoka and Nistor twice each.

Ok, now I'm curious what the guy's actual name is. No way he's born Erik Pfeiffer if he's actually a Russian.

Pfeifer is very solid for warm-up fight

Amateur background, he has lost against major opportunity there but has managed to win vs Nistor, Yoka and Zheng though.

Decent at everything with pretty good, fast right hand.

I would say Pfeifer is at Gorman level so it would be at least second most challening opponent in Dubois' career.

but if he really belongs - he would outduel him

Daniel wants to prove he's at world level now. I'm glad that he's forcing Warren's hand by demanding decent fights as we all know that fish eyed twat would have had him fighting absolute jobbers for the next few years left to his own devices.

Pfeifer is his real name. There is a minority of ethic germans in russia. A lot of them came back in the last 50 years. These people have often still their german names and can get their german citizenship very easy because of their history.

Oh, and if the fights Dubois, he gets knocked out.

Yeah, but this is supposed to be a stay busy fight for the Joyce fight.

    Seems kinda risky

    Wouldn't be so sure.

Lots of Germanic people in Russia.

Meanwhile Joyce is getting ready by sparring university rugby players who have never so much have had a amateur or pro bout.

Hes fighting Wallisch who is exactly the kind of guy you'd expect these guys to fight to dust off the cobwebs.

Just seems like a strange choice for Dubois.

Yeah I saw that. I was referring to a friend of a friend that had been sparring Joyce in what seemed to me very poor prep for the Dubois fight.

Dubois KO in R3 or 4. Pfeiffer was dropped by some Georgian bum. Turned pro too late. He's a journeyman level fighter.

Dubois to get a couple of rounds in and get the KO whenever he wants. I predict late second. This is just a stay busy fight, and on BT will hype the Joyce fight well to the public over here.

Seems a risky fight on paper for Dubois to take for a warm up fight but I doubt they'd take it if they thought there was too much risk in it. Dubois by early KO.

This fight is only risky if Dubois is a hypejob.
