Anybody else think Joyce beats Dubois?

Nah. Think he takes too many punches. Stiverne was unloading with ease and I think Dubois’ power is genuinely top tier.

Of course Dubois gets tagged as well, he shipped a few heavy ones from Lartey most notably but I think he’s too quick for Joyce. Joyce is a good athlete and has great stamina but boxing wise he’s fairly slow and cumbersome.

Dubois stops him IMO.

 

I have this as a genuine 50-50 and worth PPV. I hate PPV but when a 50-50 is the main event in a bout i am genuinely interested in.
Dubois i think will be the real deal and certaily looks the part but is still very young in HW terms.
Joyce is also a huge guy with a very good chin good power and a very good engine, he was also a very good amateur.
Who ever wins this should be looking for a shot at Fury or AJ and will firmly be a top 10 heavy.

Dubois hasn't beat anyone of note so there's every chance Joyce can beat him.looking forward to this more than fury v wilder 3.

 

I agree with this to be fair. Said it before, Warren knows boxing and hasn't signed Joyce to beat Dubois. It's a decent name and fight for where he is at. Hopefully Joyce really puts it on him and both come out looking good.

 

Warren himself will have taken a really hard look at Joyce and has figured out that he thinks Dubois will come through.

I think Joyce will be too slow and he takes to many punches clean. I think Jennings, who’s not really a noted puncher hurt him quite a few times as well.

if Joe is still there though after 6 and he Somehow hasn’t taken big damage he could potentially grind Daniel down the stretch.

I doubt it though, Dubois stops him on his feet around 7.

Joyce has got every chance in this one. He's much the bigger of the two and is genuinely battle hardened. Add to that his excellent stamina and heavy hands and it all rolls into a massive test for Dubois.
Daniel is younger, quicker and can also dig but Joyce won't be going over from one shot.
If Dubois can fight he should take it but if he doesn't have that bit of mongrel in him, Joe stops him.

 

DDD is the man to beat but Joyce has a very good chance in this fight - great fight to look forward to.

 

After watching the Joyce v Jennings fight, Dubois should be fine. Dubois needs to target the body I feel as he's not a noted body puncher as Joyce was badly hurt there early on against Jennings which took him a long time to recover. Stiverne also landed regularly on Joyce as well. Dubois by mid rounds stoppage similar to Gorman.

 

Joyce is very slow and has no head movement. If Dubois is legit, there’s a danger this is a blow out

Cant see it. Dubois will win. Pretty sure they,ve sparred together a bit. Frank wouldnt be putting dubois in with a real threat at this stage if he wasn,t completely satisfied with what he seen imo.

Joyce has always been on the verge of coming a cropper. Decent puncher is always gonna be his downfall. Its a good fight tho....still think joyce has been carefully selected. Hes half decent joyce...and a good name for dubois....but hes not gonna fair well against the speed and power of dubois. I still dont think dubois the next joshua. He is gonna be good tho. Getting made to look tremendous against the sub par opposition atm.
