I think if they had fought in 1990 or 1991 when the first match was originally Scheduled Tyson would win back than Tyson had far better head movement and holyfield didn’t got the jab douglas had to keep him off holyfield would off been still very tough and Tyson would not ko him but Tyson back than used better angles and was less predictable holyfield himself also admitted if he fough Tyson back then it would have been a far harder matchup he was very hard to time and had more fast combo’s. Still you never know but i favoriet Tyson on a close desisciom

    1. Tyson Fury

    Then in no particular order:

    Ali
    Holmes
    Lennox
    Louis
    Vitali
    Foreman
    Marciano
    Dempsey
    Jack Johnson

Honorable mentions: Frazier, Holyfield, Patterson, Liston, Wlad (big stiff idiot), David Price

Mike Tyson is not a top 10 all time HW. He could have been but he faltered.

AJ is very unlucky to be in Tyson Fury's era

I disagree, Tyson had overrated head movement and his style was predictable, especially in the early 90s

Buster Douglas robbed us from seeing the prime undefeated Undisputed HW Champion vs prime #1 HW Contender who was the Undisputed CW Champion.. The only matchup that could compare to that acclaim wise at HW was Frazier vs Ali 1 when both guys pretty much had claim as the HW Champion.. I personally would have favored Holyfield in that 91 fight but I understand a lot believe Tyson aura of invincibility would be too much..

    1. Ali
    2. Louis
    3. Holmes
    4. Frazier
    5. Foreman
    6. Holyfield
    7. Marciano
    8. Liston
    9. Dempsey
    10. Wlad

On Lennox Lewis who I would put 11: I personally think (read; just me, Lewis fans) his achievements against the 3 biggest fighters of his era didn't particularly count for much. Tyson was way way past his prime when Lewis fought him, Holyfield was also past his prime though not as much and the Bowe fight never materialized.

He fought a future champion of the next era (Vitali) which he was losing to before the fight was stopped. Lewis has a good resume but the fighters that were the elites of that time were either past their prime or unavailable to fight. This of course is not his fault but looking at it dispassionately does factor in. I’m not knocking Lennox, h2h he is a nightmare for any HW.

    Couldn’t disagree more re Lewis
Don King kept Tyson well away from Lennox
Holyfield lost both his fights with Lewis despite the fixed draw
Bowe didn’t fight Lewis because he ran scared knowing he’d lose
Lewis was winning the 6th Vs Vitali which would have put him level or he’d have KOd Vitali who had thrown his best shots in Rds 1 to 3 and wasn’t even hurting the worst LL we ever saw.

Apart from that Lewis destroyed Ruddock who went to war twice with Tyson, assassinated Golota who was beating Bowe to death till getting DQd twice, mashed Grant who was the up & coming unbeaten monster Heavyweight prospect, walked through Morrison, Played with Briggs, frightened Akinwande into getting himself DQd, KOd Bruno and he beat every man he ever stepped in the ring with!

He was the fastest, best tactical, most agile & Athletic HW we’ve seen since Ali but he was 6’5” 240lbs
Yet he can’t make your top 10
    I’m mystified
