So in other words, I didn't insult you.

And I'm sure the forum will agree, everything I've ever said is less offensive than thinking Pacquiao won against Mayweather.

You claimed to have "schooled me" which if not an insult, is hostile.

But if you wish to stick to boxing, then so be it. Pacquiao improved far more between the first and second Morales bouts than you give him credit for. It doesn't matter if he looked even better in the third fight. He had made great strides in the initial rematch for the reasons I stated.

Those who claim that Pacquiao only beat Morales in the rematch because Morales had slowed down are wrong in my opinion.

In the ten months between the two fights....what do you believe Pac started doing more, in terms of improvements, then prior?

That Morales, who you think did not slow down, got slaughtered by Raheem, and even dispatched by B level at HIGHEST, David Diaz.

Having watched Morales' whole career, there is quite the difference in him between Pac 1 & 2.

I never said that Morales didn't slow down.

However Pacquiao tightened up his game greatly. He had better footwork, better head movement, and a better right hook.

I mean, I didn't mean it to be. If you took offence, I apologize.
    Nope. Sorry. Didn't happen.

Pac's fundamentals were still very raw in the Morales rematch. He made some improvements (which I've already said) and TBH those were pretty significant improvements, in terms on how he'd build on them. But he didn't become the offensive virtuoso you see at 140+ over 10 months. It simply didn't happen.

Like I said, he added a short, counter right hook, and he worked on some new head-movement. He also was a bit more patient and not quite so gung-ho. The rest of the fixes came later.

His balance, lead, footwork, fundamentals and ring IQ were worked on later. And it's not like I'm not denying Pacquiao didn't make the improvements at all, I'm saying that they came over a few extra fights.
You're entitled to it. You very well may be right. That version of Pac vs a prime 130 Morales is a 50/50. I'd give Pac the edge since the first fight was so competitive.

Prime 122, 126 Morales beats Pac at those weight anyday.

I hate it when people go on about improvements in between fights.

It's more adjustments are made as a result of what happened.

Like when Floyd got caught against Mosley, he adjusted by clearing his head, taking the initiative and walking Mosley down to negate his attack.

Some adjust mid fight some adjust after a fight.

The Pacquiao in the first Morales fight was as good as any Pacquiao who ever existed, obviously they focused on certain things in the camp as a result of the beating he suffered at the hands of Erik.

One thing we know is, Floyd got spooked at how big a run Pac was on. And his crack head daddy putting it inhis head that pac was on something.

There were articles written long before suggesting Floyd would wait out pac to get more war torn. 4 years later, those articles came to fruition.

Wouldnt surprise me if both go down st some point if they had fought in their primes. Floyd would have to dig hard to weather a windmill of punches but I think he walks Pacquiao into counters and edges him. Who knows though, it may have not met expectations like the actual fight.

Isn’t USADA main client the USA Olympian’s? Also what theory it’s a FACT that drug testing had been in contract since day 1, it’s a fact that manny only made issue with testing after everything was agreed to easily by Mayweather and it was time to sign the papers, it’s a fact that after Marquez 3 Manny’s claim claimed he had a cut that wouldn’t heal in 6 months, that they needed to build a stadium, eventually even going as far as saying why is Mayweather calling me. It’s also a fact that Mayweather walked up to Manny directly at a basketball game on national tv and called him out to his face only then was the fight made.
