ROFLMAO Floyd passed the test?????? If Floyd came in ring with a baseball bat & hit Pac over the head with it the NSAC would call it a legitimate KO & issue him a retroactive TUE for the bat Youre getting to be not worth talking to Pimp youre on a level with MVC
Wrong this is what he said 2:25 of this video This content is protected He said it was mostly their fault period end of discussion
I've refused to watch that fight for a variety of reasons, so I wouldn't know, but I'll take your word for it. Which means you think that JMM was roided off his balls for the fourth Pacquiao fight, then? I actually agree that Floyd is a bad style match-up for Pacquiao, especially in his later years when he refused to engage even less. Excellent use of taller body and longer limbs, long jab, excellent countering (when he made them miss and then pay, instead of just making them miss) and could tie Pacquiao up on the inside whenever he felt like it, and a host of other advantages besides. But the reason why people can't accept this is that, in their primes, when people wanted it to happen, FOR WHATEVER REASON, it didn't. So there will be people like you who will point to the on-paper advantages for Floyd and will say "It didn't matter, Floyd would have won anyway" vs others looking at Pac's advantages (and numerous examples of 'on-paper' highly skilled underdogs beating favorites ala Duran/Leonard I) and say "Nah dawg, Pac would have!" It's all just baseless speculation, which is why this topic is so tiresome. We will never know, despite Floyd fans/Pac haters and Pac fans/Floyd haters blustering to the contrary. Oh, and for what it's worth...you failed the test.
Based on what? Lesser fighters than pbf beat pac. Tell me how pac is going to prevent pbf from controlling range and dictating distance on him? I've yet to see anyone come up with a realistic scenario of how he deals with that yet just wishful thinking with no analysis like your post.
Okay, but can you accept that you were misinformed about the situation? You seem to think that people are arguing that the IV was a performance enhancer. They are not. They are concerned because it was a potential masking agent.
It didn't happen because they didn't want to test just like roach told you in that video I just posted. Stop with this myth please. After those first negotiations it was bad blood and failure by both sides but back in 2010 it was pac who messed it up.
No I realize that the iv isn't the actual vehicle to put peds in you. I'm saying that he was cleared and never failed a test before or after the iv.
Then why did you say above that PED use the night before the fight would have no effect on a boxer's performance? As for him not failing a test: "As reported by this writer on MaxBoxing in Dec. 2012, information filtered through the drug-testing community on May 20, 2012 to the effect that Mayweather had tested positive on three occasions for an illegal performance-enhancing drug. More specifically, it was rumored that Mayweather’s “A” sample had tested positive three times and, after each positive test, USADA had given Floyd an inadvertent use waiver. These waivers, if they were in fact given, would have negated the need to test Floyd’s “B” samples. And because the “B” samples were never tested, a loophole in Mayweather’s USADA contract would have allowed testing to continue without the positive “A” sample results being reported to Mayweather’s opponent or the Nevada State Athletic Commission." It's hard to fail a test if the drug testing body keeps issues you with waivers and exemptions, and doesn't report problematic findings to the NSAC.
Because people think he took a ped the day before the fight went home and did an iv to get rid of it.
That is incorrect. Mayweather was tested on April the 21st. The IV was administered on May 1st. Mayweather could well have used PEDs between that period. The IV could have masked this use so it didn't show up in post-fight tests.
It certainly would be a better fight than when they DID fight. I think Paq has a good chance to win a decision through more activity. Or getting credit for being more active.
Floyd at any weight, but there was a moment there where both of their legacies would’ve been lifted had they met. I know it’s been done to death but at the end of the day if Floyd wanted the fight in 09 it would’ve happened. Don’t bother replying you can’t change my mind
