In fairness to those people, Taylor lost that fight in the eyes of most, even "Kaaayyteeees" biggest fan Adam Smith had her losing.

Hearn straight afterwards said there would have to be a rematch, and then proceeded to avoid it, made other fights, never mentioned Persoon unless he was pressed on it.

So it looked like a duck.

And it all sort of went away, Persoon didn't get her rematch, well she's got it now because Taylor wants paying and there is no other fight they could make that would justify not fighting Persoon.

The rematch was always on down the line, but they understandably wanted the big pay day with Serrano.

The 3 fights they were always talking about were Serrano, Person rematch and Braekhaus at a catchweight.

Honestly, if she won all 3, she could just retire safe with the "Greatest woman of all time" mantle encased.

The first one was the best women's fight I have ever seen (just a great entertaining fight period). Looking forward to this scrap and feel like it adds depth to the best card we have had in forever. Feel like the sport really needs to go to 3 minute rounds and 12 round title fights, Taylor would have been toast under that rule set.

Good for Persoon to get a chance to exact revenge. I thought she won the first fight.
Kudos to Taylor for giving the rematch.
A fight to look forward to.

Katie got her ass beat. Badly. It wasn’t even close no idea how anyone can have Her winning.

Do some of you even watch the fights? Saying Persoon was robbed is simply garbage. If you want to score it 7-5 to Persoon, I won't argue too much even though I would want to know which 7 rounds you are giving to Persoon. To say that Persoon was "robbed" is simply the hyperbole of every casual who whenever the favoured fighter gets a tougher match than expected.

Do any of those who claim "robbery" even intend to pay for this fight? These guys sound like Wilder supporters.

I think I had it 6-4 Persoon or 7-3 Persoon.

It was one of the worst decisions of a high profile fight in recent years. And I'm a Taylor supporter.

Better fight than Serrano anyhow. Tougher fight for Taylor.

Well, it would help if you actually saw it. Because if you did, you'd know it was a 10 round fight, therefore making 7-5 is an impossible score to come to.;)

I don't worry too much about any mistakes I make as I do watch the fights. Anyway, my score for the fight is probably more accurate than most of your scores for fights as I notice that someone is always being robbed in the fights you score.

Well that's pretty ****ing hard to pull off, since I score virtually every match on every US, UK, Italian, German, Russian, French, Mexican, Thai, Argentine, Japanese and Spanish card. And I'm viewed as one of the more credible scorers on here. Seems like having around a thousand scores per year to my name, I'd lose credibility sooner or later.

Also, maybe I actually know what I'm looking at more than the average poster.o_O

I trust Adelaide Byrd more as a scorer than you and at least she doesn't berate and insult everyone who disagrees with her scoring.

Nope. I am not a alt. I am a boxing fan and I only have one account on this site.

What I see though is many sporting forums go through this phase. At some point, the trolls and haters get the upperhand and generally all the more moderate and considerate users leave. Then the trolls and haters fight even more amongst each other until only a single bitter group remains who have chased off all those users who just want to have an interesting discussion instead of the bile and bitterness of the most energetic haters. I seen this in boxing, NBA, NFL, soccer and many other sports. The site generally dies off through disuse thereafter although it can take months or years. If your most active members cannot accept being WRONG at times, their energy and effort generally wears down the more moderate and considerate thinkers.

This site isn't at that stage yet but it is definitely headed there.

Think you've summed it up perfectly there.

Maybe it comes down to how you want to define robbery? It wasn't a fight where Taylor didn't have her moments, or didn't win rounds. At the end though I thought there was a clear winner and it wasn't Taylor. If someone is deprived of a victory that you feel they deserve, isn't that a robbery? Or does it have to be a 12 round one sided schooling which gets recast into a one point win for the other party to justify the term?
