Katie Taylor vs Delfine Persoon 2 is set for August 22

I didn't score while rewatching yesterday but I thought Persoon edged it. However I think it takes away from good fights a bit when close decisions in fights with competitive rounds are decried as robberies. Persoon looked far better late but after six an argument could probably be made for 4-2 either way. I'll rewatch later and actually score it

 

Delfine still suffers from the hernia in the neck . She did not look good in the pre olympic bout some months ago . Great job by Taylor’s camp ...this is the moment to fight her .

 

I missed the AJ/Ruiz fight because I turned it off in disgust after that robbery.

That's quite something. Katie Taylor reminded me of Amir Khan in this last fight and it's good to see someone who doesn't get blown out of the water by her just off skill alone.

It was the worst robbery and like I’ve said before it’s only because it’s woman’s boxing that it isn’t the worst of all time, Katie Taylor felt bad taking that one it was clear to see, it wasn’t even close, she was swarmed and over powered the whole fight, pesoons work rate and stamina should also be mentioned It gets overlooked and isn’t appreciated for what it was, for me this is the worst robbery in my lifetime as persoons performance isn’t remembered for what it was (outside of those who watched it) it was a dominating and extraordinary performance that shouldn’t be forgotten and iam a Katie Taylor fan.
