    James J beat Tuffy Griffiths, Corn Griffin, John Henry Lewis and Art Lasky.

    He also beat John Henry Lewis, Tuffy Griffiths and Art Lasky. One would have to be skilled to the utmost to beat those opponents

    Foreman II would do serious harm to Braddock. Withdrawing from the fight would be Braddocks best gameplan.

    If he was still here after fighting Louis and Baer, then I don't think that fighting an ancient Foreman would be an unreasonable gamble.

    Foreman’s stepping stones Qawi and Cooper impress me more as wins then all of those.

    Yeah, you’re right ancient Foreman only took the arguably best HW of the late 80s and 90s In his prime to the brink.

    Holyfield clearly beat him and I doubt he was a tougher obstacle than prime Joe Louis.

    He was gassed and holding for the law few rounds... clearly or not George took him to the edge Braddock was easy work for Louis.

    He couldnt beat a 17 yr old Foreman or a 60 yr old Foreman for that matter

    Lewis was a world LHW champion and the other a were top rated contenders and Griffiths had 68 KO wins out of 74 fights.
